I stayed at May Space which is the dorm aspect of May Rooms. My flight got delayed 3 hours but Carol was still there waiting for me & making sure I was OK. The beds & facilities are all excellent. There are lockers are big enough to put most of your valuables in, but are not luggage size. The guests on my stay were very social. Also I wanted to go on a hike in Fulung, & Carol told me where to get the ticket & figured out all the details. She is amazing helpful. The place overall is great.

We arrived in Taipei late around midnigh, but were welcomed by Mr. Chen, the owner, at the MRT station exit. Then, he waited us at every turn/traffic ligt on his scooter to make sure we could to the hostel all right. Very friendly and comfortable hostel!! We also enjoyed our morning hikes to the Elephant Mt. and the view of 101 Building from the trail. Nice location!!

This hostel was amazing! My bed was extremely comfortable and my room and bathroom super clean. Carol the lady who organzies it was so helpful and kind. she picked us up from the train station and took us personally to the hostel. I would definitely come back to her hostel instead of booking a hotel. oh and the location is perfect right downtown!

Me and my 2 friends spent 7 nights at May rooms, the location is really good since it's very close to Taipei 101 and the rooms are brand new, modern and especially clean! The staff is extremely nice too, Karol speaks good english and she's so kind that one day I got sick she even took me to see a doctor.. it was like being in family. Definitely recommended location for the quality of service and price you pay!

A clean and cozy place, homey atmosphere. Stone and Carol, who run the hostel, were very friendly and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Relatively safe neighborhood -- the shops and food stalls around the hostel are open until late and the street is well-lit.

May Space overall is good except that the heater of the shower is a bit malfunction. After the suitable temperature was set, halfway of the shower the water could get steaming hot followed by freezing cold, making the shower a bit unpleasant.

this place was so nice. It is surrrounded by market and quite near Yongchun MRT station. The room is clean but its location is a bit hard to find for the first time. but for overall things are okay. Recommended place for those who wanna stay in the middle area of Taipei.

This is a great place to stay and the owner was really helpful. They provide everything you need, including towels, shower gel, shampoo. The only thing is, when I arrived the door was locked and no-one answered, I had to go to a nearby shop and ask them (which would be difficult if you don't speak Chinese) and then they called them - they arrived in 2 minutes, apparently that's normal, but a sign on the door telling you to do that would be helpful. I would stay here again tho :)
