It was more than dirty, there was no hot water in the showers if we can call it showers. The beds are HORRIBLE and the sheets smell bad. There was no light in the room so we were in the dark and the door can't be correctly shot and opens every two minutes with the wind. The man in staff at the reception entered the room during the night with one of the guest. Both were drunk, they smoked in the bathroom and spoke while every one was sleeping.

i'd really great time in this hostel, the days i've where definitly goods, but not as much mas the owner who's really wonderfull. i recommend this hostel.

Would be nice to get a map of cancun from the hostel, also would be good if the hostel has a computer with internet connection (everything cannot be done with mobilephone).

This hostel was nice enough and the staff was friendly. Also had a good location however it maybe lacked atmosphere. It all depends who is there but everyone seemed to sleep the entire 2 days I was there. Overall a nice hostel and a good breakfast too for the money you pay!

My worst hostel in a long time. The beds in my dorm were very dirty. Even after 22 hours of travel I had to make an effort to sleep there. I saw a couple of bugs on the beds, too, but no bedbugs. There are several decent hostels nearby and even closer to the bus terminal. They are not much more expensive either. Also, they are better places to meet other travelers.

We just have a great stay there, don't miss it! It's perfect if you want to meet people from all over the world, and who like to travel a lot. People there are open minded and ready to discover a new culture. It's good if you want to see another side of Cancun, the real Cancun and not the touristic one. The manager will do everything he could for you. It is safe and just 3 minutes from the bus station, by walk. The breakfast is included (typical mexican food) and really good. Enjoy it!

just spend a amaising time in cancun at mayan hostel staff very helpfull great locacion 2 min from bus station, great place to chill and meet people, room are simple but really clean. super atmosphere! will be back soon! rosy the owner is really help full and will give u tips about all the good things to do and to see around.
