We chose it to be close to the university, and the apartment's other two rooms were occupied by others there for the same reason. So it was rather crowded as it's also the home of Maya & Asha. We didn't have our own bathroom as did the others - a bit awkward. But after a week's touring we were happy to return for our last night, to a warm welcome and relaxing home. By the way sweet Maya's a very talented artist. Also we enjoyed walking around the quiet leafy neighbourhood after Delhi's chaos.

Asha at Maya's nest is really welcomig and helpful. This is a great place to stay but it depends on your needs. It is not far from JNU and this is why we chose it, on the other hand if you want to be close to the centre of town it is not ideal it is not in walkable distance to the metro. Be warned too that being in the annex is not as good since the young men looking after guests have very little English and therefore communication can be difficult, though Asha's is only a phone call away!

W enjoyed a great stay at Maya's nest . We were welcomed in, despite our arrival time of 4am. A quiet, relaxed part of Delhi to get yourself orientated. Definately reccommend Maya's nest to other travellers.

As an indie traveler this guesthouse is the worse experience ever. As expected it is not a hostel, it's a small apartment very far from town. I choose this guesthouse because of the review and b'cause I am with my hubby, parents, sisters, brother and little niece hoping that this house can give comfort and to feel like home. But unfortunately it's not like home, it's a HELL. Both owners are a very unstable, split personality mother & daughter. NO PRIVACY AT ALL. All facilities are BULLSHIT!!!

We first wondered where the taxi brought us as it is in a normal flat a bit outside of delhi (public transport is good though). Nice and clean rooms. But best of all: the hostesses are great! Friendly and very helpful in every situation. Great hospitality! I can really recommend this place.

Maya and Asha were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was a little tough to find, but I think that was more difficulty navigating Delhi rather than the location of the hostel. It's tucked away in a nice, quiet suburb. Breakfast was delicious, our hostesses were sweet, the shower was hot, and the bed was warm and comfy. It ran among some of the pricier options in Delhi, but it's definitely worth it, couldn't ask for more in a hostel.

The location is a little further away from Lutyen's Delhi - BUT, one can easily hop on the bus or grab a taxi from here. (And interesting scenes of human life can be witnessed along the way). A cozy place with a friendly & helpful hostess who'll make sure you'll never go hungry or get lost - Maya's Nest is really a great place & i'll definitely come back again one-day. Though my stay was a short one, i still enjoyed it. Thank you Maya's Nest.

Maya's nest was unusual in being away from the "tourist" destinations but that gave an opportunity to see a part of Delhi that tourists probably rarely see and I would definitely recommend giving it a visit. Overall, it was very very clean and comfortable and very friendly - there was always time for a chat and plenty of good advice about India. I would definitely look to stay there again when I am next in Delhi.
