The hostel is very well placed for the bus station and train station, and its 20 minutes from the international airport. The couple running the hostel couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The room is basic but very clean and peaceful, just the ticket when you have arrived on a long haul flight! Its a very chilled and welcoming place, would definitely stay here again if i return to Negombo.

It looked like that they have two bedrooms and a living room. There is a television in the living room and that's also a kitchen. One bed room for the family(dad, mam and a baby, when I was there their parents were visiting), another for guests. They have two beds for guests. The bathroom is to share with the family and I didn't feel comfortable.

Jedna łazienka wspólna z gospodarzami, bardzo głośny wentylator, zepsuty jedyny prysznic, brak wieszaków, szafek, brak stolika i krzeseł. Nie polecam !!

The owner Rome is very helpful and kind and the location near the bus station is fantastic with many cheap places to eat nearby. Also the train station is an easy walk away. From the bus station station you can get cheap buses to Colombo and Kandy and many other locations. Also the cheap train to Colombo from the railway station as well.

Very Friendly staff, and great location. Just beside the Negambo Bus Station. Best place for transit to other city.

It’s my first time in a homestay, but I'd a plane to catch at1am the next morning, so didn't actually stay for long. He introduces me to the wifi password via the rules chart, some of which are pretty odd. Nazz is a damn polite guy all the same, bending over backward to try and make you feel actually at home. Everything else is average - shared toilet and not high security for your valuables.

Great little place, lovely owner! Perfect to stay in if you are flying into or out of Colombo and don't want the expensive accomodation there.

Probably some of the best hospitality you will experience while traveling. Perfectly located in Negombo; easy walking distance to the local attractions and very close to the bus terminal. Was relieved to find this hostel in Negombo, as the options in Colombo were significantly more expensive, not to mention much further from the airport. Excellent work guys!

close to airport and Negambo Famous Fish Market (15-20 mins walking way). It's a choice to stay if taking late flight to Sri Lanka.

I would advice people not to stay at this Mezz Home Stay hostel. It is not clean and the person running the hostel was annoying called Toni. On arriving at the hostel I opened a bottle of whisky Toni asked if could fill up his bottle with my whisky. A one point Toni locked us in the hostel while he went home to his wife. I felt that this was dangerous and unprofessional I feel strongly this hostel is run so badly. Please avoid at all cost. The worst place I stay in Sri Lanka by far.
