Our Room had no window at all, but was very clean with a spacious bathroom. staff was helpful and sometimes very friendly. don\'t do your laundry there as it costs at least the double from every other place we have seen in Cambodia. It has a good restaurant downstaires.

The rooms are clean and the hostel is decent, however the staff stops being nice as soon as you check in and they are only available to ask you if you want to eat/drink something at their overpriced restaurant. Avoid booking buses with the hostel at all cost, it was a pretty nasty experience for us.

We had a good room located on the 3rd floor, with a balcony that overlooked the street. The room was reasonable size and clean, shower was hot, though we only needed cold showers as days were 35 degrees. The breakfast menu was fantastic, the fruit shakes delicious. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good location, close to,the buzz of the tourist zone, but not in the midst of it.

I had only booked one night, which was good, because otherwise I would have left after that night anyway. I stayed in one of the 4 bed dorm with ensuite bathroom. The other girls in that room had moved in the same day. The room had not been cleaned before our arrival. It was dirty, especially the floor and the bathroom. My bed didnt have fresh sheet, but the staff was helpful and changed them quickly. Unfortunately I discovered later that the new sheets were stained as well... There was only one lig

The staff was very friendly untill we payed (in advance btw!) then the frienlyness stopped. The airconditioner in the room was full with mold and smelled really bad. The windows could not be opened, there were 4 screws to prevent that! We booked the 4 hr bus trip to Sihanoukville at Me Mates, there is no such thing as a 4 hr bustrip to that place! It took more than 5,5 hour. In Sihanoukville we find out the shortes time to travel is 5 hrs, so why do they sell the more expensive 4 hrs tickets?

Pretty swish place for cambodia, food is pretty pricey in the hostel though. Its all the usual facilities and obviously cheap for us backpackers!

Great hostel. Staff were truly amazing, especially McLain and Tony Montana (you'll understand when you get there). Great decor throughout, from the American Diner style restaurant area to the rooms. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Phnom Penh. One of the best places we've stayed so far without a doubt.

Very friendly staff and in-house bar and restaurant. Within walking distance to the restaurants and bars on the river promenade, so no need for those dangerous moto rides at night.

We were a little disappointed to be put in a small room with no windows, and for that reason we only gave Me Mates an "Average" rating for value. The restaurant provides good food, but it too was a little overpriced for Cambodia. However, the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us with a couple of tricky errands in the city. One manager actually escorted me to the store I needed and helped me bargain. Clean hotel, cold AC, and very friendly staff!

Me Mates is a nice place to stay if you\'re looking for places that are clean and with bargaining rates. Ppl say it\'s far the major dining spots but i think the location is acceptable, it\'s actually a 10 mins walk from the night market it\'s near the riverside. If you are looking for a place to sleep, this is nice choice.
