Nice stay at Me Mates Villa hostel even though the prices of the restaurant are quite expensive regarding the prices of the city. But the staff Is really nice, the place Is clean (clean team clean room and make your bed every ) ans the patio is a really nice place to have Beers and meet other travellers.

This was a great hostel to stay at! The staff are very friendly and offer great deals on tuk tuk rides around the city to various spots. It's super central yet tucked away quietly so that noise is a minimum. The beds are big and comfortable and the rooms clean. The lobby has a very affordable restaurant with lots of delicious foods available. Definitely recccomend this to anyone staying in the city. There are rooms in the lobby that would be noisy, but I am sure you can request not to be there.

Friendly staff and lots of space in the 6 person rooms. Only negative was trying to extend one more night. We were asked to pay $1 more if we wanted to extend in person so we just went online to do it.

Staff is trying to help you with everything you need. Prices for tours and food are a little overpriced. Good wifi for upload! But there are other places which are better for chill out and get in touch with others...

We stayed two nights and wanted to stay one more night. When we asked the front desk we were told to pay 1 dollar more per bed if we wanted to extend our stay. We asked to speak to the manager who was extremely rude and basically told us that he had enough costumes and therefore didn't care about us. Couple if minutes later he came to tell us to check out right away (9pm) as he "didn't want people he didn't like". He did change his mind though. Hostel other staff is nice btw.

The hostel in itself was really nice and clean but as a youth hostel, they shouldn't be overcharging you for organized tours. For 25$ you can rent a tuktuk from them to go see all the sights whereas you can get the same thing at any other travel agency for 12$. laundry was overpriced as well. It's the small things like these that would make me not recommend this place to others.

This time I was in a spacious room, the previous room I stayed in was rather cramped. There are lockers with enormous padlocks, and the beds are big and sturdy. Staff is kind, sometimes a little disinterested, but there's always someone around if you have questions. It's nice to have a little patio to sit in, but it's silly that one can't bring food from outside to eat there.

Great value. Beds are big and cleaned every day. Nice bathrooms, friendly staff, good air conditioning, big lockers for your stuff. Food was good but overpriced. Only downside was the lack of atmosphere. Not the best place for meeting people

I stayed in the 6 bed mixed female dorm, which was very clean and comfortable, complete with AC. Sadly there is only one bathroom per dorm (connected toilet and shower) which makes things hard when someone has food poisoning or everyone is getting ready in the morning. My friend stayed in the 8 bed mixed dorm and had flooding in their bathrooms. Otherwise the atmosphere is relaxed and the beds are huge. Sleep with a sweatshirt, the rooms get nice and chilly at night.

Fantastic location close to the riverfront and all of the major streets! Not a bad hostel, lovely staff.

Location is in an alley, a little hard to find. The free pickup from bus station, was troublesome. Told them what time we would be there but, nobody was there to pick us up. Our other roomate had the same, they waited for 2 hours at the station. Room was okay, clean, cozy, but got no small light, only the main light. It was a bar in front of our room, so it was a little noisy because they kept playing music 'til late at night. The staffs are nice, friendly. Restaurant has nice food.
