Apart rim Wednesdays this hostel had a very bad atmosphere. The staff were unhelpful and rude and the facilities were very basic.

Buen dia. Gerencia

stuff is very friendly and helps u with all our answers. laundry service is very good and so cheap ;) beds are good, a bit less showers for all the people but with hot water. outside are with pool is very nice, good to meet people there and for making party as well. i recommend u to stay over wednesday because there is a huge party in the hostel and in the city. not that close to the beach, by taxi 10-15min, but it's in a street with full of bars and the old city is also very near ;)

The staff acted like talking and helping you navigate Cartagena was a huge pain in the ass. Definitely a party hostel, and we met some excellent people, but the overall vibe felt like I was going to get an STD. Left for Santa Marta after one night here, instead of staying in Cartagena like we originally planned.

Most of the time the staff weren't friendly. The bathrooms were poorly clean.

Media Luna Hostel it is pretty fun and the young people that stays there is great. However the reception personal could care a little more about their clients and show more interest in their issues or needs in the city, so they can recommend great things or know how to react in some situations. The upper bunkbeds should have something for avoid people to fall (who actually happen to someone in other room). And the bathrooms should have at least liquid soap for the guest.

Great hostel! Friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms in great location. Make sure to join the futbol game and take a salsa class on the terrace!

Great location, nice small pool, awesome party on a Wednesday. For what you pay however, no breakfast is included and the rooms without air conditioning really are quite boiling hot, I was never able to sleep in past 7am due to the heat. You can organise trips and buses from the hostel which is handy, the majority of the staff are really friendly. However on arrival both myself and groups of friends weren't given a 'welcome' or any information whatsoever about the city, what to do etc.

Its the Partyhostel in Cartagena. So if you like a quiet place to stay, you are wrong. We met a lot crazy party people. But sometimes they was sooo crazy. The staff is friendly and helpfull, sometimes a bit slowly ;) The rooms have just a fan. The most hostels in Cartagena have all a aircon. But here you will pay for the party and fun and not for the great rooms ;)

Showers could be better

Staff often seemed like they couldn't be bothered and many events advertised (e.g. Salsa class, bbq, pool party) never actually happened. Rooms are a good size and cleanliness is pretty good. Found it hard as a solo traveller to start chatting to other groups as there are no big communal areas

Loved the courtyard ! and location

They give you an orange wrist band that attracts every drug dealer in the city. The female staff were all equally rude but the male stuff were all friendly. They must have a strange hiring policy. For a party hostel the vibe is pretty dead except for the Wednesday night party.

the pool was nice to cool off

Location is great but the staff there is awful! This hotel has such a great potential (location and architecture) but unfortunately the peoples who are handling it, ruin it.

Hello Sr how are you? thanks for your review and sorry but the inconvinience. Could you explain what happend exactly, please. What happend wiuth the cleanliness? Thanks Manager

The swimming pool and the activities help to meet people. Most of the staff is really helpfull Lake of bathroom compare to the number of people and strange time to clean it. The common area are nice.

The worst service in all Cartagena, I'm Colombian and I can't believe they where so rude, this never happens in Cartagena or Colombia. Hated that place.

Reciba un saludo. Quisiera saber que fue lo que pasó exactamente. Sentimos la mala situación. Quedo pendiente de su respuesta. Gerencia

Really fun party hostel in a lovely building with pool and roof terrace. The club 18-30 vibe might not be to everyone's taste and the staff weren't amazing, some unhelpful and rude, most trying relentlessly to bang guests. Great trips, door to door transfer to your next hostel. Only one plug socket for six people though, and no aircon in the upstairs dorms which might be why everyone gets so battered every night.

Really cool party hostel, nice pool. Good party on a Wednesday. Staff are useless as they could be possibly be. Some of them more interested in cracking on with the guests rather than helping others. Nice room, but very hot. Power supply is very dodgy (ruins your phone battery). Not great location. Really really good day trips and bus service. Would recommend, it's where everyone is at! And far better than El viajero.

So it´s a party hostel, other benefits include, air conditioned tv room, ping pong, and strange tub/pool, but if you are not coming to party or use these facilities it is a very overpriced hostel where everyone is boiling hot. The rooms don´t even have trash cans and the bathrooms are dirty, or dusty or sandy. It is more of a hotel, as there are so many people staying there. I had a good stay, it is a nice hostel, but don´t expect excellence. Thank you Alvaro, for playing ping pong with me!
