We booked our stay in Darwin just to sleep since we were only in Darwin to visit Kakadu Nt Pk and Litchfield Nt Pk. We had booked a private room since we are not party people but our room (room 51) was located next to the bar and the music was very loud and kept on going until 12 pm. The facilities were not clean, but this has probably more to do with the drunk people than with the cleaning staff. I recommend you put the private rooms as far away as possible from the bar.

Its probably one of the better places in Darwin, meh

Only slept in my room for an hour the first night, because there was a man 2x my size in my room who was clearly very drunk and was talking about stealing. I am surprised security let him in. I was staying in the room with my male friend and we ended up sleeping outside.

I was a little worried about the hostel being too much of a party hostel and not being able to get sleep (especially after camping all week). However, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice & quiet (we were on ground floor). The pool area upstairs was great for chilling or partying. Staff were fine, sometimes you could tell they were over it but were friendly and helpful nonetheless. Facilities were good & clean..Only thing was we noticed kitchen smelt a bit funny at times.

Staff were always extremely rude, uninterested and unhelpful, bathrooms were always being cleaned in the mornings when most people wanted a shower Very expensive for what you get

I'm new to hostels so my judgement may be a little stray. However I thought that all the advertising I had seen, pictures etc, were either taken a long time ago or had a great Photoshop artist.

I booked a private double room with ensuite bathroom - There was almost no water coming out of the shower. + I checked out one day earlier because of a Kakadu tour. The night was refunded and I even was allowed to leave my lagguage there for two more days although I already checked out. Thumbs up!

When i first arrived arrived the receptionists were very rude and talking to me like i was nothing. Ive been traveling for three and a half years so i've stayed in quite a few places... An this is horrendous. I walk into the room and there is a smell of stale cum in the air, theres a porn poster on the wall an no one to be seen. Decided to change hostel, went back down to reception the receptionists tried argueing with me when i said i wanted to change room, so i asked to leave an get a refund.

No bed lamps, no hangers on the wall in the room, insufficient electrical outlets, problems opening the door to the room, no hangers in the main part of the bathroom

Very big hostel, rooms are quite basic for price but do have big lockers and mirror. Only 2 power outlets for 4 people & located near the door not near beds. Pool bar is cheap with events/offers every night. Have to pay for wifi but pretty decent speed. Great location, kitchen & pool area usually crowded due to number of guests.

It's what you expect from a hostel - place to sleep, parties, dirty facilities. Generally it was all okay, although one of the staff members, this guy with an American accent, was a douche.

Bathrooms and kitchen was dirty at certain points of the day, could perhaps had a little more attentiveness to this. Aside from that no complaints, fun hostel, plenty of chances to meet people and rooms were spacious.

Although i didn't stay much long, it's a perfect place for partying people!

This is a sociable hostel in the sense there is a large pool deck/patio and bar onsite, but not alot of other opportunities to meet other travellers, some organised events could be good ie/ bar crawl Also, the kitchen set up was quite awkward with lack of utensils, and only half the stovetops working

Cockroaches, very poor kitchen, dirty floors, smelly sheets...

Huge Party-Place. People start at noon with shots. I found only 4 outlets in the common area. kitchen very dirty. location top but shuttle bus to airport $36 (return).

It is a very big hostel in the centre so it is a log of party there. The rooms are clean and quite. Peter Pans is just the next door for free wifi! No power points in the room.
