If you like the alpha male testosterone feel to a hostel then this place will be perfect for you, massive cockroaches in the kitchen, food and dirty kitchen items was everywhere, kitchen was closed when it was lunch time for cleaning, the noise from the doors opening and closing 24/7 was epic to say the least, showers were a mess, used condoms in the shower cubicles most mornings, internet was overpriced, had to pay for the hire of plates, bowl and cup, i wouldnt recommend staying here to anyone

I had a really great time here. The staff is helpfull, the cleaning was ok and the beds are fine. It's a bit expensive, but worth the money.

Generally clean, however, there's some ants running around in the cupboards and toilets.

Not too bad for a big hostel but it lacks effort towards encouraging activities and social interaction. If your traveling with a group and want a place to laze about the pool and drink perfect but if your solo it can be a little boring.

The good: Very friendly staff and excellent location. The bad: Very crowded, kitchen is not big enough for this many people.

Good location in central Darwin. Dorm rooms decent and secure with lockers. The bathrooms were very untidy when I visited but it was the middle of a holiday weekend.

The male toilets/showers needs to able to let air in or out, it is pointless having a shower because its so hot after you get out and its is a very unpleasant experience to go to the toilet for more than 2 minutes because there is no fresh air getting in i.e temperature and smell

Although we were spoiled by Asia, we found the price way to high compare to what you get as a double room. It looked more like a prisoncel and the bed was not a double, but a bed for 1,5 person

This was a good hostel. The only major improvement is that there needs to be free wi-fi. Travelers need to be able to check in with family and friends as well as plan out the next portion of their trip without paying dollars for minutes of internet.

The staff in general were jaded and less than friendly, except the irish/scottish guy that was on night duty was extremely helpful and accomodating. I was originally in a 6 bed female dorm and the 3 english girls living there for over 1.5 months were filthy and inconsiderate of other guests. Their late night noise and their filth were not regulated in any way, which is concerning as a serious safety issue & obvious the cleaners had not been through that room since their arrival.
