I had a great stay in this hostel. Mike the owner gave us a fantastic overview of the area and recommendations of places to go and personally took us to our room. The environment is fantastic and if you don't plan on going out for the evening there are magazines and boardgames to keep yourself occupied. Lots of BBQ's to use. Would highly recommend.

Three mates and I stayed at Meluca for four nights. We had and excellent time. The location is really good, across the road from a lovely surf beach. And the setting is great - surrounded by Australian bush. The owner, Pete, is a really lovely and helpful bloke who makes the stay all that more enjoyable. This is a great value for money location. I would really recommend staying here.

The hotel was excellent. They even have fridge inside the room! the only downside is that the kitchen is not very clean... although in my experience that is a Australian-wide problem.
