Melbourne Central YHA

Melbourne Central YHA is an exciting new backpackers� hostel in Melbourne\'s vibrant CBD � close to all of Melbourne�s best events including The Spring Racing Carnival, Summer Festivals, Grand Prix and Australian Open Tennis. Plus, walking distance to Yarra River, Federation Square, ACMI and Melbourne Aquarium.

PLEASE NOTE: from 26th April until the end of May there will be improvement works happening to the hostel. As a result there will be very limited kitchen facilities.

Hostel facilities include a tour desk for local and interstate travel, plus a high-speed YHAConnect Internet Cafe with skype and WiFi throughout the hostel, flat-screen TVs and electronic door locks.

There\'s free hostel activities for all guests, including walking tours of Melbourne, pub excursions and BBQs. Ask reception for more details when you check in.

The hostel has an eclectic bar on the ground floor which serves tasty affordable meals, plus coffees, cocktails and a range of beers. Great deals for YHA guests, including 2-4-1 meal deals most days of the week!

Melbourne Central YHA has a range of rooms to choose from including 3, 4 and 6 multishare, twin/doubles with the option for ensuites, plus, some very special private rooms with ornate balconies overlooking Flinders Street.

The hostel is ideally located close to public transport making it easy to get around the city. We are only 900m from Southern Cross Station - Melbourne\'s main arrival point for regional and interstate buses, trains and airport shuttle buses.

There is a free city circle tram that operates in the CBD with a stop directly in front of the hostel - now that\'s convenience! A free Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle bus also operates in the CBD and the closest stop is just 5 minutes walk.
