If you are looking for a really cleen hostel you should be there. However, it is not the good place to meet people. If you want to have fun, go to another backpacker. I did it!

This hostel was so big it felt like a hotel. I only stayed here for one night, as was planned but I doubt I would've been able to stay much longer as it was very hard to meet people in such a large hostel. Because of this it was all very clinical and charmless. It wasn't a bad hostel it just didn't have such a good atmosphere as you would find in smaller hostels - which I prefer. That being said, the facilities are excellent (no free wifi though) and it was very clean. The location was good.

The sofa cause itchness when seating on it.....the room was stink by dirty clothes hanging in the room but not hostel fault

I stayed at this hostel twice and found it well located and with all the facilities you need to enjoy your stay in Melbourne.

Good location in the city centre. Spacious rooms and nice (and clean) bathrooms. Downside of the location is that it is next to a busy road with a tram line, which causes a bit of noise at night time, bring your earplugs and it should be fine.

Another really good YHA hostel. Really clean, great friendly and helpful staff, good facilities and location. Easy to book tours here too.

It's not that clean,and a little bit noisy during the night. But the location is good, near the transportation stop. The city circle is in front of the central YHA. The staff r good and willing to help.

Communal areas are very small no lockers in my room just metal drawers under the bunkbed which were very difficult to access. Good location 10 mins walk from Flinders Street Station. Not the friendliest of hostels due to small communal areas although reception staff were very helpful

Good location - really close to Southern Cross station and the Skybus terminal. Staff were friendly, room and bathrooms were always clean. The only downside was they said check in was at 12, i arrived at 12:30 and had to wait another half hour for the room to be ready.
