Needs to mount shelves in bathroom and sleeping rooms. Very inconvenient to use bathroom without shelving

Good hostel, considering Shenzhen is not a big place to go travel to, the hostel is decked out nice and cute. bedroom is clean but the bathroom could use more touch ups during the day I think. They gave me spot on directions to get there from the hostel! RECOMMENDED

My second stay here this year. This place is really cosy and the owner is a really nice chilled out guy. The location is quite good too, lots of malls nearby as well as smaller local places to eat. I would have like to have stayed longer.

Great little place. It was a shock when I entered as, from the outside it didn't look promising. Inside is beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful Good location to the train station and subway. Direction to the hostel on the website could be improved significantly.

Curfew! :( Many Chinese people staying here so that's pretty cool, if you're into that. They were very cool about my last minute change of reservation; no fees or complaints or anything. That was very nice.

Good for a night's sleep, not much else. One toilet/shower for several dorms? Pleasant decor.

The place is an appartment in an excellent accesable place , but the space is extreemly small for 3 small room having 6 beds each , in addition , the owner set a curtain in reception and sell 2 beds with zero security , zero privacy ,... people eating , drinking , joking , laughing 2 meters away from guests sleeping . The owner close front door and shut off the reception light t mid night . The Place hv only two showers&toilets concluded by one door , WC is working porobably .

The best hostel I've ever stayed! John is simply awesome, and the atmosphere at this place feels more like a big family than a hostel. Would definitely recommend to all travellers. If you want a place where you can get some travel advice and meet interesting new friends, this is the place!

Like many other reviewers, I had a lot of trouble finding the hostel, as the address and directions on the website are very unclear. This isn't really a hostel; more a small "dorm" where people merely go to sleep. Great location though!
