not a hostel its a hotel. i wanted a hostel to meet people
Great place, modern minimalistic and certainly not only for students. We enjoyed our stay there. Location was great, we could walk around the centre day or night, nothing was too far:-)

The hostel was very nice, but we stayed at the studio and the bathroom with it was super tiny, no room, flooded and didn't drain for like 20 min at least. There's no barrier between toilet and shower and sink. Wherever you were standing in the bathroom there was at least 2 inches of water in the studio bathroom, but the double bed room was a very nice shower and well kept. We were surprised by that it was so much better than the studio. Everything else was very nice though.
Nice and secure building. Dorm room feel as study abroad students can stay here long term as well. Room had desk, kitchenette area with a stove. Did not need this, but would be good for long term stays.
Best security of places we stayed. Close to a metro station and lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. "Laundry on location" is actually a door into a laundromat that is open to the street so we had some interesting company. Ensuite bathroom was like a train bathroom with a shower crammed in.
We enjoyed the stay at Melon, really helpful staff and location was awesome, next to the metro which was just a couple of stops from maim tourist places. There are nice pubs and tapas places just as Street away.. Rooms were a bit small especially the bathrooms that were tiny. All in all enjoyed the stay.
