The owners were very friendly and helpful but the price of staying there was quiet expensive compared to other places in the same area, however we didn't view other guesthouses so we can't really compare them. We had a lovely room with views of the river, beds were comfortable and breakfast was excellent.   Read Owner Comments

This is NOT a review of the Merry Guest House No 1. Our Tuk Tuk driver took us to the Merry Lao-Swiss Guest House by mistake. This guest house is the sister to Merry No 1 and shares the same owner. It was clean and neat, showers were small.Staff very helpful. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The Merry Lao-Swiss looked much more superior to the Merry No 1.
