The staff was very nice and I loved the free breakfast. The hotel was in a perfect location close to paddington station, so it was super easy to get to from Heathrow. It was a little tough lugging my luggage up the stairs and occassionally there wasn't toilet paper in the bathroom, but overall it was great.

We had a warming reception and staff seemed very friendly. We also think there are things you guys should improve. - The overall cleanliness was bad. We saw crumbs and plastics under the bed, and we even found an used soap in the shower, wich lead us to think that the toilet had'nt been clean. - There wasn't a power plug in the toilet, wich is very useful for hairdrying and men's electrical shaver. - Related to the previous point, we asked for a power extentension, and you didn't have one.

we were not notified of these problems, they would have been dealt with because we try and ensure a high standard of cleaning

The room was very small and not very clean ; we found many bed bugs. The window would not close completely. Breakfast wasn't that good (nothing fresh except low budget yoghourts, low budget crackers, disgusting stuffed crescents)...Maybe we'd expected too much .

Owner Comment (Show)
It is hard to believe that the guests found bed bugs, failed to notify staff and remained in the same room without complaining for their whole stay. If a complaint is made the hotel shall act upon it.

excellent value for money. very convenient location right near paddington station. michael on reception is very friendly and helpful. room was small and dingy but i was expecting much worse considering how cheap it was. not a very exciting location for night life and such but very good for getting to heathrow or wherever. my room had a tv, fridge and ensuite as well as a decent bed. if you are fussy and have the money you can go to the hilton which is just down the road. cheap and cheerful.

I had a cockroach in my room. Breakfast was not very good, just packed stuff, nothing fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful, however. Location is also perfect with good connection to the main sights.
