Awesome hostel in the hearth of old city, we loved their terrace soo much , free breakfast was serving there and it was soo cool , Location is just perfect , basically you are in the middle of everywhere, Rooms were pretty clean as well as the bathrooms Brothers running this palce and they are extremely helpful and friendly, try to catch free shisha party and definetly do pub crawl,Their travel desk arrange very cheap tour for us around turkey , cant say enough good things about this place, its absolute

Metropolis hostel has an unbeatable location. A few blocks away from most popular istanbul sightseeing points. Hostel is very nice and clean , staff is always very helpful and friendly. Breakfast served by two friendly lady at beautiful roof bar with amazing views. l had amazing stay at Metropolis Hostel l already know where l will stay next time when in istanbul.

Well ıt ıs a great experıence at the end of the day.to be sıttıng on the 4th level deck over-lookıng the Bospuorus

The hostel is very conveniently located, only a few minutes walk from the historic heart of Istanbul. It is in a back street which is thankfully a bit quieter than many hostels directly situated directly on Akbiyik Caddesi. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful .The view from the terrace is great, and there are plenty of restaurants around. While I cannot compare to other hostels in Sultanahmet, there are certainly cheaper, good hotels in OTHER areas of Istanbul.

if you wanna be in the middle of historical side of city this place is for you, Location is just perfect, we ordered pick up service , driver was waiting for us in airport with our names holding, our room was good and cozy, extremly clean , breakfast in the room was awesome and was free, internet was fast,, staff are awesome and they make sure you will have good stay / helpfull with tickets arrangements organizations, library was full of books and guide books, overal great stay, you wont regret.

The hostel was very clean and well placed. However, it was hard to get a good night's sleep underneath the rooftop bar and the staff tricked my friend and I into paying almost triple for a ride to the airport. We asked for a taxi, and he charged us for a special shuttle booked through the hostel that it was clear we didn't need or want. I live in Turkey, and will not be coming back here in the future when I'm in Istanbul.

Great hostel! Stayed for a weekend and the staff were very friendly and the location cannot be better.

Amazing hostel, amazing staff. Metropolis hostel is definetely great place to stay in istanbul. very good beds and shower. Superb free breakfast and the staff will go out of their way to help you with things. Joined an amazing bbq and belly dancing show and then following a pubcrawl for free entrence. Had such amazing time and met tons of nice people...

The terrace was very nice and the breakfast was good, but there were no other common areas. My friend and I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm for two nights and ended up cancelling the other two nights of our reservation. The room was the size of a closet with no room to put our belongings, and both nights we were woken between 3-5 AM to roommates who were either arriving or leaving. The staff seemed nice, but be aware that if you change a reservation they will keep your deposit!

Very close to the main sights and the main backpacker street. If you get lost on the way there, just ask a local on each corner and you'll get there easily! Tiny room crammed with 2 bunks, so was not ideal especially as most of the rooms are very spacious. Lockers are outside the rooms, but quite secure. Good vibe and friendly staff, but our room was far too small for 4 people.

Warm welcomes upon our arrival to the hostel, rooms are clean , bathrooms as well, breakfast is great, rooftop is georgeus, Most friendliest staff during our eurotrip, this place is more than a hostel, we felt like at home with friends, so much fun , nice histories (informations) about city , good tips to discover city,They serve breakfast in their terrace , in the night is roof top bar which is the place where you will meet with alots of people from all around the world. thanx guys!!!

Cute hostel in old city with georgeus view from roof top bar, free breakfast was awesome  , rooms were clean , bathroom as well, cheap transfer to airport ( only 5 euros) internet was fast (free), Best Part of the hostel is staff, they are very friendly and helpful with anythink you need, ,in our last night there was bbq party on the roof, belly dancing show was amazing,- FUN-,  we had a great time there and we definetly recomend to anyone who looks for warm hospitality and fun...

We had an amazing 3-night stay at the Metropolis Hostel. The staff are very helpful and funny (KING Murad, that's you!). We also enjoyed our lunch and dinner at your restaurant. Thank you so much for tolerating our insane night-long laughter at the restaurant!

Fab hostel, staff and atmosphere and it is definetely one of the best one l have stayed during my trip. Cool roof bar and amazing free breakfast.

This is a great hostel! The location could not be better; it is right next to all of the major sights such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. The rooftop terrace free breakfast is amazing and has a great view. The staff are very helpful and nice. The only downsides are a small room and a rather questionable bathroom. But still, for its cost, I'd say it's the best place to stay in Istanbul!

The best ever you can get in istanbul! Location is excellent, the rooms are very charming and clean. Breakfast is delightful. Moreover, what really makes the difference is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They do try to make sure you have a good time in istanbul.

This hostel was the best I've ever stayed in! Incredibly cheap, the vibe was great, the other people staying there were awesome and there is nothing I could improve on! This hostel sets the standard roof bar views are the best.

Smelled like humidity. Not much activity at the terrace. Average breakfast.

Stayed in metropolis recently and had a wonderful week there, met lots of travelers, made good friends and lots of fun, Best part of the hostel with no doubt was terrace, in the morning nice buffet breakfast, in the night cool place to have some drinks and shisha, meet other travelers. Room was super clean &secure , bed was comfortable, staff was super friendly and helpful ,Murat took us to the taksin for pub crawl, was great fun, Overal my stay was absolutely fantastic and can recomended!!
