Mewar Inn was my first stop in Udaipur, they were accommodating in the fact that I ended up changing the date of my booking several times, which they seemed okay with. The room was spotless, bright, the bathroom equally clean, the bed was comfortable. However they are situated on Residency road, which is equivalent to a highway, and with everyone leaning incessantly on their horns, the room faced the highway, so was very noisy from about 5:00 am. It is also situated far from the main town.
