This is the cleanest place I've stayed in all my traveling in India! The staff was excellent, very helpful and honest. The room was spacious and had all the things most places don't here like towels, toilet paper, and a waste bin. We arranged an auto rickshaw city tour through them and were very happy with it. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this place!

Mewargarh is run by a really nice family and has cute rooms with hot water for a good price! It's a bit of a hike to get there, but we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to other backpackers.

I usually never write reviews, but this guest house is really worth it! The staff are lovely and so helpful. If you need help with anything, they arrange it for you. I'm so happy with my stay here!

It's a warm family-run guest house, cost effective, new built and clean. Staff is professional and helpful, while the location is the major disadvantage which will take u 10 mins to walk to the lake or clock tower.

I'm not in the habit of writing puffy reviews but I will certainly make an exception in this case. The Mewargarh Palace has been one of my accommodation highlights on a trip across the whole of India: its very clean, very comfortable and very convenient; the roof-top restaurant is excellent and very good value for money. The whole family works very hard from morning to night to ensure that your stay is both enjoyable and comfortable. By any standards this is an 11/10.

Great place to stay. The family is very helpfull and honest. The rooms are clean and have good wifi. The location seems to be a bit odd at first, but it is actually pretty close to the main attractions, so no need for a rickshaw to walk around. I would definitely recommend this place!

Mewargarh is a very nice place couple minutes of walk from Clock tower / city centre of Udajpur. It is hidden in small streets on a hill with perfect view of the whole city. Fair price, clean rooms, good roof-top restaurant......, and very very friendly staff.

The cleanest guesthouse we have had in India - hot shower and very nice owners. It is located a bit out of the centre of Udaipur - but only a ten minute walk to get there. Very recommendable for the price.

Nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. The owner is polite and welcome, introduce the city to us, help people arrange share taxi to nearby places. You have to ring the bell every time enter the main door. Extra 100 Rs charged for early check-in.

Staff was very professional. Also caring, taking me at 5am down the road for me to pick up the tuk tuk they arranged. Food was good in the restaurant. Rooms were clean and super comfortable sheets and blankets. It is not very close to the attractions and get there at night you have to walk trough creepy streets, but Udaipur is not that big and had no problems on the 3 nights there. Everything was really good.
