Great value for money and this place is kept really clean - we could tell it was really clean as soon as we walked in the door. Our room was really nice with air con and hot shower and Wi-Fi. Rizwan was the most helpful, honest and patient host! He helped us really make the most of our time in Udaipur. We felt really at home here. Another benefit of this place is the great food at the rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. We definitely recommend this place!

The hostel was very nice, hot water. There is a curfew at 11pm which my room mate kept missing or got lost which the owner rightfully wasn't too happy but if you get in on time there are no problems! All in all i enjoyed my stay here!

The staff is not reliable and the location is very far from the city, One night, having a terrible headache, I decided to eat at the hostel. Out of no where it was decided they weren't serving meals. So i ordered roti, nutella and water, it took well over an hour to get my food. Had they told me beforehand I would have walked down the street and bought my own food. Only person speaks english so asking for my help/tours/taxi is ridiculous. Most of the time the 'staff' just says 'money'.

very secure and clean place to stay. the owner has an interesting personality, not exactly a people person but friendly enough. restaurant was okay, bottom room on the right (by the road) was quite noisy at night with the homeless dogs barking at each other, so would recommend a different room. also recommend getting transport on your own to/from airport as you can negotiate cheaper than through hostel 500Rs...

Can't really fault this place. The hostel is spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic. Probably the best hostel we've stayed in so far.

Great family, great breakfast, very friendly people. Helped plan out my trip. In a great location, 10min walk from the city center. Stay here if you don't like being surrounded by all the tourists, but still have the option of walking 10/15min to city palace (main attraction).

We loved this place- great location (away from the tourist center, but not a far walk), great staff (all in one family), great food, great rooftop terrace, and all in all super convenient.

It's fantastic stay for a night in such a friendly, clean and budget homestay at Mewargath. I paid the least money for a room during my almost one-month trip in India, but got the best quality i've had in India(am budget backpack traveler)! You should talk to the nice, interesting and very friendly lady too, who is in charge of cooking and operation. It's lucky that i stayed in this place to explore locally instead of a lonely guest house room.

It is run extremely well, safe, well-located and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. it looks nice but doesn\'t have great character or atmosphere. However, it is a great place to stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at this Guesthouse. It was very clean and had an excellent, hot shower, which made me very happy! It's a cute, quiet place with a nice rooftop and friendly owners. The only downside for me was location - I often got lost and had to take rickshaws most of the time, with the drivers often not knowing the location. That did get annoying. In retrospect I probably should have chosen a place closer to the lake. However, if you don't mind that then this is an excellent option

This is one of the best guesthouse that i\'ve stayed in India. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are clean. The hot shower is really powerful. The GH is within walking distance to the lake, its on the quiet residential side of the town, which is good.

The owner, Rizwan, is the absolute best of guys. Has an extremely dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and it just makes your stay that much better. Highly recommended.

Owner Rizwan and his lovely family have thought of everything. They offer internet, shuttle and taxi services, a good restaurant, super-clean rooms, hot water, laundry service, and other amenities that I'm sure I'm forgetting. The vibe is very sweet and family-oriented, and it's an easy walk to the Palace. The only downside is that the electricity is cut for a few hours everyday (all over the city, I imagine). Overall, for the price, you can't do any better!

The family who runs this guest house is so kind. Great rooms and food options. Every facility you could need in India. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Udaipur outside of the Lake Palace...

this hotel is easy to rate. everything is right about this place- the room is cleanest places i've ever stayed in india, the hot shower is simply the best in india too. the rooftop restaurant created a good communal area to mingle with rizwan (the boss) and other guests at the hotel. bed is so comfortable with warm blankets. free wifi available which has a strong signal even from the rooms. do not hesitate to book this place, you won't regret. nothing can go wrong in this hotel. awesome!

Great cosy little hostel. Roof is excellent way to meet people/admire the views over udaipur. Room was spartan but comfortable (if not a little cold - winter). Very secure, quite. Don't miss it!
