The hostel has moved and most taxis will route you to the old location across town - make sure you have the current address. The hostel was fine for $12 a night, but very bare bones and had little character. We returned to Oaxaca city later in our trip and decided not to stay here again.The hostel has moved and most taxis will route you to the old location across town - make sure you have the current address. Lovely hostel with nice people. Very nice owner! 24h reception was great as well! But sometimes the water stopt running because the tank was empty, but always within couple of houres refilled. The website was not updated that the hostel had moved so we had to walk through town twice to get to the real location. No internet or pool as advertised on the internet. Guy at reception gave our friend a cheaper rate than he give to us. No mirrors in the bathroom. Almost everything in the advert is false. There is no bar, no pool, no cooked breakfast. This is understandable as they are moving buildings but the attitude of the staff is not. On the rare occasions they are around if you ask for something like coffee at the advertised breakfast time they will take ages to respond and may first disapear out of the hostel for a walk. Disfrutamos de nuestra estadia. Tuvimos el cuarto privado y podemos recomendar que se hagan arreglos para mejorarlo un poco (entra agua por el techo y la pintura).
