Very good that they allowed us to store luggage here while we visited other places. stayed here 3 times in total. very squeaky beds and very thin walls .

It would have been nice on arrival to be given advice on how the breakfast worked as we noticed this info just seemed to be passed on by the guest themselves in the morning when people were looking a bit lost. Also to be shown facilities. Also it would be nice if they had a map to show their location and where good bars,shops are nearby. Having stayed at a lot of other hostels I felt it lacked a bit of the homely touch.

Mi Casa was a little out of the way, if you wanted to be closer to the center of San Jose, but the staff (Andres) were super nice and helpful! Also, our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was fine. My sister and I just needed a place to stay over night after the flight into SJO and this hostel was simple and perfect.
