I felt very comfortable there . Breakfast was delicious and the staff was nice. I will go again on my way back to Miami.

I Don't recomand this place, the staff is so strange, you have to sig a lot of rules like :" i wont walk with shoes in the appartement, i wont do this i wont do that...." I felt in prison, and the women who work there sleep in the same appartment ( she slept in my room) , and she folow you every where you go and look everything you do. I will never ever go to this place.... I felt she was watching over everybody.

The staff was nice. To be honest though, there were ants that crawled on me while I was eating breakfast. The girls were screaming at one point because there were cockroaches. Also, since it's all girls, the girls can get very catty and form exclusive cliques. Wasn't my cup of tea but it wasn't the worst experience I've ever had in my life. The manager is pretty cool though: friendly, outgoing dude.

Owner Comment (Show)
Thank you Erika for your praise of our staff .As for the insects the small ants are a problem all over miami not just in our hostel as they are very hard to kill but we have drastically reduced them since you stayed with us and the "roach" that the girls were playing with was actulally a palmetto bug that was crawling around on the balcony outside

good location. value for money very good during the week but less in the week end, specially when you pay more and you are more people in the room.

I returned to the hostel more than once, it has a lovely calm atmosphere and lovely staff. Great for chilling out and not far from anywhere, a break from the madness of the beach but still near everything. I would recommend the place, the only improvement would be to make it clearer which apartment it is in the house.

This is a great place to stay in Miami, safe, comfortable, clean, good value & although it's further away from ocean drive than some other hostels, it's just a half hour walk or 5 minute bike ride. There is a decowalk bike facility around the corner ( bikes that you pick up and drop off all over town for a small fee on your credit card, great system) and it's an enjoyable walk/ride as you see a different part of town. I discovered many bars, restaurants and lincoln shopping mall enroute.Enjoy

Omar and his bro are friendly, earnest hostelers. I enjoyed chatting with them. I do think the $100/night is overpriced for a hostel bed. Then add the cost to and from the airport. But this is South Beach; other places I checked were $400/night. It is a quiet hostel--not a party place, at least on the night I stayed there. It's bare bones w/ 6-8 bunks in each of the two rooms, 1 shared bathroom/shower. Bring cash--no credit. Women only, though they spoke of changing.

Akil en Linda were very nice and welcoming. The hostel is small and cozy, has all facilities you need. The location was for me very good, quit but in walking distence of most things. (ocean drive, lincoln mall, art deco etc) If you need airport shuttle, akil will do this as well. There are staying a lot off long term girls who can show you around and know the area, wich is nice. They work in Miami, so the hostel is not a party hostel, wich i really liked. Dorms a bit cramped, and warm.

If you\'re looking for a place to party this is where you want to be..it\'s pretty much a club with beds. If you\'re looking for something more peaceful I\'d look into something else. The staff was very nice.

no phone, no laundry powder for sale, no information on tours and things to do readily available, not always someone around when you need to ask questions, breakfast around 10mins late everyday and no croissants as adv, not much room for luggage easy access in rooms - these little things can be a pain when you only have a few days eg I am now lugging around a bottle of detergent. Free internet though and owner was helpful with a few things, also very clean and the owners have a cute baby girl.

Water was hot; beds were soft; staff friendly; free internet; the location was great with a 10 min walk to the beach. Its just off the main drag, so it is quiet which is perfect for someone who actually wants to sleep!! However, the staff were not around at the time they said that breakfast was going to be at, and I had no one to get my security deposit back and almost was late for my flight. But overall, a really good stay!! Would go back!

It is the best hostel I've stayed so far. The location is the best, staff amazing (very friendly and helpful), very clean. I really enjoyed the full breakfast with juice, coffee, fruits and your choice of cereals. They had free internet computers to use. I will defnitively stay there everytime I go back to Miami.

The hostel was clean and quiet, not a party hostel which I think is good. Breakfast was provided. It's nice to feel like you are just staying in an apartment, which feels more homey.

It is a really nice athomshere in this hostle. Akil is a very funny guy who really takes care about all girls staying in the hostle. We booked one night in this hostle....but we felt so welcome there that we booked an nother night after we came from the keys and the everglades back to miami. The Lincoln Street, which is a a good place for shopping and party people is directly by the hostle. PS: Akil...it was so funny to hear you "snorkeling"..... ;-)

I have all good things to say about this hostel! It was so relaxing and everyone was so nice. There are rules in place for a reason and that was really good! Akil and Linda were fantastic and very reasonable. Please don't give them a hard time cos they are the nicest people and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. You can catch the South Beach Local for 25c to central South beach. The area this hostel is in is quite upmarket along a marina. All internet is free :)))

this hostel was pretty amazing because the owners were so nice and friendly. even though the checkout time was by 12, they kept our laggage and they allowed us to take shower after checking out time. also location is perfect!! it takes only 5mins to Lincoln Rd from the hostel.
