Excellent hostel that matches up to or exceeds the standards of hostels in Europe & Asia. As an American, I thought the staff was not as friendly or helpful as I've found at other hostels in Europe & Asia, but maybe it's because I was a visitor to Miami and not a foreign traveler. They seem to deal almost exclusively with foreign travelers. The facilities, location, amenities, atmosphere, and fellow hostel guests were all outstanding.

When arriving in the hostel, they told us our room was a mess so we couldn't stay there. They gave us an apartment 5 blocks away from the hostel, which was pretty far by foot and this was not the room we requested. The room was pretty big but not really clean. The tap in the bathroom was leaking and the kitchen was a mess.

Location was AMAZING, that plus the free meals DEFINITELY made it worth it. I didn't go to any of their clubs or parties, but it was still a great place to stay, cheap, friendly people from all over the world, etc. Definitely recommended!

Nice place, the cleaning was really good and the rooms comfortable. Great location, walking distance from hot spots and the give you breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the rate. This hostel is especially good if you like party, they have plan for every night. I recommend it!

Jeff is fantastic. Please fire the horrid woman at the desk. She is downright rude and disrespectful and shoud not be working in hospitality as she has zero customer service skills. She tried to rip me and my friends off and had to fight with her for over 30 mins. As someone who works in the hospitality industry she is an absolute disgrace and really likes to go out of her way to ruin peoples evenings. Everybody watch out for her and don't part with any money unless you are 100% sure!!

We had no problems by the check in but for our surprising we got an apartment a few blocks away from the hostel, which was okay for us, unfortunately the AC didn`t work and after 3 times Calling the hostel, we finally got an other apartment. The second apartment NR.2 at 8th street was really cool. We loved it. We had two things who were really annoying, first the internet never worked, so we always had to walk 10 min to the hostel to get internet and the second thing was the long way to the appa

Great facilities, nice staff. The plaque outside the door said that rooms were cleaned 4 times a day........ Not very well it would appear. Another plaque asked for people to keep the noise down after 11pm. What a joke! There was a raging party going until about 3am in the lobby and the street noise (someone decided to play loud rap from their car for an hour at 5am) might as well have been in the same room. If you want a party this is the place for you. If you want to sleep, forget it.

Stayed around New Year's festivities, $80 for a shared 6 beds dorm room was expensive, but the free breakfast, lunch and supper made up for a little of it. There are always organized nightclub every night, and the social/party atmosphere was a big frat party. Don't expect to get much sleep though, but that is part of the fun...isn't it?

In spite of being in a good location, it isn't safe. One night a strange man entered in my room while I was sleeping and tought my legs, if I hadn't waked up and left so fast I don't know what would have happened.

Lots of fun and friendly staff who want you to have a good time. I'm not sure if some of the events they organized were worth so much money though.

Excellent location and they serve you three meals a day. I only have two issues which are not a big deal. One, the shower head really needed repair. There was one morning when I wasn't even sure I took a shower. Secondly, the only place you can use the internet is the lobby which constantly plays very loud clubbing music. It's a problem when you are trying to check in or have a normal conversation with a person without yelling or in my friends case skype with her boyfriend in norway.

Very unfriendly staff (especially the girl at the reception), dirty bathrooms and roaches in bedroom, they gave my locker code to other guests

This hostel is more a club than a hostel. If you plan to go to Miami and relax there, you should avoid this hostel since you are not very likely to be able to sleep. However if you want to party I guess this place is pretty good. Indeed, very loud club music is played from 7am till 2am in the lobby and parties are organized every day in the city. The location is very good (2 blocks from the beach) but the rooms are very small and kinda durty. The shower I had had no pressure at all.

Great way to experience the hottest beaches and clubs of Miami with amazing nights out without breaking the bank. Free meals help too. Although they aren't what you would find in a resturant, they hit the spot if your hungover. Great location as well 2 blocks from the beach so I can just walk out in my beachwear and not worry about taking a bag with me that might be stolen.

The staff is the best ever. Perfect location close to the beach, parties and clubbing every night, lot of nice people and impossible not to enjoy! Easy transportation from airport and greyhound is a plus and the tours they offer as well
