Miami Beach International Hostel Reviews

Our flight was delayed so we arrived at 23:00, shattered, only to be told our room had been given to someone else. The only solution they could offer was an place on the other side of the island and the taxi fare. We had chosen this hostel specifically for it's location so this is not what we wanted, but we were faced with no option. The rooms were clearly in the process of renovation with exposed wires and no hot water, so we asked for an alternative the next day only to be told they were full.

It's a great hostel! I would recommend it, but there is no need to book a twin room because then u not gonna be at the hostel. And the other rooms are great,too.U gonna be in ur own apartment. Noone told us before :( but on the one hand it's great having an own apartment and on the other hand it's bad, because the atmosphere in the hostel is brilliant! But please let people know that before! We paid the price to be IN that hostel with THAT location, not to walk 10min. A lot of young people!:)

Best hostel ever!! The staff is always helpful, they have parties everyday, the location is great, facilities awesome!! Definitely I recommend it!

Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. The staff was always helpful and patient with us. We loved the atmosphere with the music playing in the lobby, the close walk to the beach, and all of the cool people just hanging out! I think the only thing I would've suggested to myself would've been to bring my own pillow and blanket.

Party every night was awesome (pre-game, party bus, VIP entry and all that), staffs were friendly and helpful, the people who stayed at the hostel were also a lot of fun, great price, very clean, having air conditioner was also nice. Definitely coming back if I visit Miami again.

Location : You have to ask to be in the main hostel at Miami Beach :-) it will be better.

This place is awesome. Always try to book this hostel first before looking at any others! If you want the best Miami experience, choose this place!

Stayed here for the second time over UMF 2013 and Spring Break. It was as good a party hostel as I remember, however we were moved to their offsite apartments for the first 4 nights. These apartments suck! We booked for a 6 bed dorm and got an 8 bed apartment. The rooms were never cleaned once while we were there. Fortunately we were able to move into the hostel for the last few days. Great hostel for anyone who wants to party, just be very wary of the apartments!

Thought that the Private Rooms should of been cleaner and had more cutlery / cups + a safe for our belongings. It was quite expensive considering the quality of accommodation. Would of been great to have the private rooms next to the Hostel so that events / food etc.. could be accessed easily, rather than walking 10+ minutes to the main area.

I have been to several hostels in the world. While I cannot say that the Miami International Hostel is the best, I can say that it is One of the Best in the World and certainly the best in Miami. This hostel is the best at helping the guests have fun with good prepared events. Also, the staff have a great attitude all the time. I think they are clearly treated well by the employer. The included meals are excellent. I intend to return to this Miami hostel for sure.

This place was absolutely off the hook!! I was here with my buddy for Ultra Miami, and it was the best time I have ever had. We made friends within seconds of getting there, the staff was amazing and friendly...and they started us off with a few free coronas (that really got us fired up for an insane weekend). It's so easy to make friends and go out with them given the big chilling area and the patio at the front and the music selection was flawless! Most fun hostel I've ever stayed at!

This place is very bare bones... Great location but leaves a lot to be desired.... I WILL not stay here again. Portable air conditioner that barley works, awful bed linen, uncomfortable rooms, you can hardly walk around the rooms as they are so small. No lockers for your things..etc,etc.

The staff and location make this place. If you want a quiet hostel, then this isn't for you. If you want to meet people and explore Miami, then this IS the place for you :)

Watch out for local taxes - not sure the 13% "tourist tax" we were charged ontop of the quoted price was legit? Oh well. Other than that really good stay, wicked location, everything you need around you: bank, restaurants, 7/11. Staff are easy going too, accomodating. The food provided isnt too bad considering the price, but shame the prices are doubled during Ultra Music Festival/WMC/Miami Music week. Probably going to stay here next time im in Miami. Recommended.
