MIami Cairo hostel was Amazing and a great place to stay in Cairo, SAFE and close to the center with EXCELLENT service. They exemplified true Egyptian Hospitality. The manager, Mustafa and his crew helped us with all our questions and concerns. We arrived in Cairo with no plans and ended up visiting Aswan, Abu SImbel, Luxor and Dahab basically all of Egypt with drivers, guides, and hotels all arranged by Mustafa and Ahmed. You HAVE to stay here! YEAAA MUSTAFA and AHMED and MOHAMMED! We

This was by far the most homely, safe, comfortable, clean, and affordable hostel I have stayed in. At first I was worried to visit Egypt because of the bad publicity and the past revolution. But the moment my friends arrived at the hostel, we were met with friends for life, great tour guides, and nothing but assurance that we were safe and would have an amazing trip. Thank you Mustafa, Haret, Ahmed, Nour, and Muhammed:)

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Aside from the facilities and location ( both excellent) the staff goes above and beyond to help and make this wonderful, chaotic city so much fun. From international dance lessons in the hostel to shisha at midnight, to arranging us a Luxor tour only ONE hour before we left, I could not have asked for anything better. I know I will always have friends in Cairo--to Mohamed, Nour, Mustafa and especially Ahmed--THANK YOU. Can't wait to come back!

Pretty much everything you would expect from a good hostel and much more: Clean sheets Hot water for showers with towel provided Awesome breakfast every morning Tea/coffee/juice for free throughout the day Extraordinary assistance from that staff Free airport pickup and trip to pyramid The staff are all very helpful and make your trip in Cairo from giving directions, helping book trips, etc. Khaled (driver) is amazing. Highly recommended, made for an amazing trip. We would revisit.

In short, my fiancée and I live in Spain and were just planning a weekend adventure. We have traveled a lot, and can safely say this trip was nothing less than fabulous thanks to Nour and Mustafa at Miami Cairo Hostel. They arranged every detail without flaw, and we are very much planning on having them plan our next trip to go Scuba Diving in the Red Sea. Being a tour guide myself - I would gladly recommend this company to any client or friend. If you have any doubts contact me.

Everyone was great, but Mustafa. He just seemed entirely too money hungry. I guess it's his job. Either way he wasn't empathetic about the way I felt about my trip. He had my money and that's all he cared about. Muhammad (my boyfriend), Nour (the cutest Egyptian ever), and Ahmed were like a group of friends that I had come to visit. They made me feel right at home. The hostel's actually environment is not bad for what you pay. The breakfast is "no bueno". The trip to the desert was amazing.

Dear Melissa thanks for your comment ., but you have payed for the room last night 5 hours before you leave to the airport., and no one asked about the money till that and would be better if you rate the room and the hostel not just the staff ., i did`t find any word about room , location,Cleanliness,Security, or something we can do better for our next Guests., Mustafa kamal.

Located at a busy street in downtown but maintian its quietness. Rooms are clean. Staff are nice. Their tours are highly recommended. Much cheaper than the others I have asked. It's located in Yacobuian Building which is the title of a famous Egyptian novel. I left a copy in their bookshelf. Go ask for it.

The staff put heavy pressure on me to accept a free night in exchange for a 100% review... The atmosphere of Miami is uncomfortable. There is no privacy in the bathroom, from the common room where the staff smokes, you can hear everything in the bathroom - one of the staff actually admitted to timing me in the restroom - super creepy. Their travel information consists of a sales ploy. The guide to the pyramids was horrible and skipped half of Saqqara even though we asked to go see it.

Dear Jill .., Thanks for all of that but its not True., You have asked to take free pickup from the airport & you booked dorm so not for free .or write a bad review and you run from the hostel last day with out paying Landry., also if the hostel is bad and this is not true why you extanded your stay for more 3 nights., i dont hope to see you again because you lie and don`t lie and say that the Guide because you booked tour with driver only and Shared tour.

I've had a quite nice time in Cairo staying in this hostel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ahmat, Mustafa and Mohamed are very nice people who can help you whatever you intend to do in Egypt. I recommend especially the guide tour Khaled; he knows a lot of things about the Egyptian history and culture which enriches a lot your travell. Besides he is a very funny person. The hostel offers different types of tour in Cairo and Egypt by good and fair prices. Go ahead!

With a 3week trip of Egypt we started and finished our trip at Miami Hostel and our final stay there was like coming home. The trips offered by the hostel are great. We did an overnight sleeper train to Aswan and then on to Luxor and a cruise on the Nile. Picked up by staff all along the way we never felt alone which was a huge relief in Egypt. Really good value for money which is also nice after being ripped off quite a lot. For Egyptian standards the hostel is awesome. New, clean & safe.
