The hostel charged more than was put on the HostelWorld statement -- they should say that taxes are not included. The man was not very nice and the room was dirty. My friend didn't even want to use the bathroom because it was so gross. The hostel was very noisy at night and we were FREEZING in the room -- it was only in the 40s. Breakfast was a plain bagel and Nutella. The only saving grace was the price and the guy who was working in the morning and was nice enough. Not recommended.

Meh. I wasn't really surprised by anything here, good or bad. Make sure to bring your own towel and pillow as the ones provided left something to be desired. Great as far a Miami lodgings go but don't hold your breath for excellence.

My brother and I were at the hostel for 10 days. I had spend already two times there before but on this one was different because I got to "live" the place. It was fantastic. Both My brother and I loved. We felt like home. Everyone was super nice and always promp to help. We felt welcome by eveyone and met good people there. The staff is sirious regarding the rules, so if you wanna mess around don't even go there because you are gonna be kicked out... And this is really great!

What a hole.. The staff were very terse and they don't really understand how hostelworld booking works (the deposit is not a hostworld percentage - it's a cut of the total payment). The beds were so screechy and unstable that barely anyone in that 12-dorm got any sleep. So dirty, too. The only good thing about it is the location: that's why the price is what it is. Not worth it. Won't return and wouldn't recommend.

I truly like the idea of Hostels. Please sorry if my suggestion insults someone. I have never intended to do so at the first place but in 12 , 10 and 8 beds rooms the toilet and the shower must be separated and have the separate entrances so those people who just want to take a shower don’t wait for those who brush the teeth. Also there must more toilets in the hostel. All people really get very upset about it and that spoils the holiday and people leave unhappy.

I enjoyed my stay here but if I had to stay somewhere else when going back to Miami, I definitely wouldn't be disappointed. The outside area is good for meeting people and there was a diverse range of people there. I don't know why, I'm just not that excited about this hostel. I think I'd tell people to get something a bit closer to the beach.

Okey hostel to stay. I had a room onto the street side which was very noisy. Air Condition didn't work and beeing 6 people in a room it got very hot. Possitive: There was free Iced Tea and BBQ and I could leave my luggage there while I went to Austin.

This was my 2nd time here and it was just great. You guys just rock! This is probably the best value for money in South beach! My only disappointment was the breakfast. 1 year back you had unlimited nice sandwich bread slices. This time there were just a single Bagel and cheese! You should revert back to policies that give you a word of mouth publicity and are considered to be your USPs!

Good value for money but nothing too amazing here. It has a good location relative to South Beach though

It is a safe, clean and with an awesome atmosphere. Good for families as for adults. Such a unique experience I would love to recommend. The hotels staff provides you with Clean Towels, Beach Towels, Sheets, soap and a reasonable breakfast. Every night there is the chance to have a discount to party in south beach. Making friendship is super easy and late at night drinking and party is a must. I've been there by myself and I made friends right away and party. I also found a general safety around

It is not too close to the beach but still a nice walk. Had some long stay guest who looked old (not really travellers). Even I saw some cleaning ladies, the place feels not that clean, specially the bathrooms in the rooms. What they call "free breakfast" is just a piece of bread (that's it). The nights I stay I did not get invited to any activity, tour, excursion as other hostels around the world. Need some cool decoration. I would pay more the the above conditions improve.

Really really excellent staff (all of them). Very clean. Huge space to chill (with jacuzzi, pool, bar, tables). Awesome full kitchen. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone. The walk to the beach is the only minus: it's a 15 min walk (closer to 20 if you walk slow!). But it did not bother me! I was always taking a different road so i can enjoy the wonderful art deco buildings!

Good clean comfortable hostel, lots of do and a pretty good location. Rooms near the road are a bit noisy from the traffic

Central place, short walk to the beach & Ocean Drive. My room was right next to the common area so got quite loud at night when i was trying to sleep. People didn't seem too friendly at all, so was hard to meet people. Most people in my room just satyed in at night! The room also had an automatic air freshener spray that got quite irritating (it went off about every 15 mins), and caused coughing and difficulty to sleep.

The hostel is a bit hard to find becauseThe sign of the hostel is not obvious enough. I would suggest the hostel either put a bigger sign outside or give a neighbouring landmark, which is a liquor store. The staff are very friendly, esp, Jeff, very helpful and patient. The tour for Everglade is fair and bar parties in the evening makes the stay more fun. Free internet access and wifi, bus stop is just outside of the hostel, very convenient. Unluckily, I got some serious bites the last day.
