The taxi driver who took me to the airport ripped me off; he was an associate of the hostel. One of the managers was rude and did not respond to the need of the guest.

I visited Miami couple of times and I stayed at different hostels. This hostel is the best! There is a private patio inside. So, you don't need to leave the patio after 10 PM. The party continues until 1 AM. The breakfast is decent. I did not see Nutella served anywhere else. The internet works without any problem even in the rooms. And there is free BBQ on Saturdays. The only thing I regret is missing the DJ parties held last year but cancelled now due to high volume complaints.

Decent enough hostel, A bit of a walk to Miami beach and the good bars! There was obviously one extra bed in my room as you couldn't even climb up the ladder to the top bunk as a bunk bed was in the way! other than the poor room size (or to many beds in a room situation) this hostel is ok!

Great hostel! Awesome common areas (jacuzzi!!) and a really nice kitchen. It's very close to two grocery stores as well. About a 15 minute walk to Ocean Drive and the beach - not too far. The staff basically just did the minimum on their jobs and didn't know too much about local public transportation but were otherwise fine. Everything was really clean and I felt safe. Definitely recommend bringing earplugs and an eyemask (as with all hostels). Thanks Miami Hostel!

I thought the hostel was really good and I had a lot of fun considering I was travelling by myself I met a lot of people due to how social the hostel was.

It's not a new building but it's clean, which is the most important thing. Beds are comfortables and breakfast is good. The wifi works great in the common areas. The stuff is nice and helpulf. They have a lot of interesting tour information. The location is a little far from all the activity but who cares about 15 minutes walking when you flew hundreds or thousands miles to get there? Great value for money.

Nice place to stay. Good location. Walking distance to the beach. Nice staff. Wifi available throughout. Decent sized kitchen. Common area can get quite hot. Nice having foosball, pool table and jacuzzi in hostel. Some interesting characters staying there.

It REALLY IS a 15 minute walk to the beach & all the 'action' & NOT a full-on party hostel, BUT, that is what makes Miami Hostel the BEST place in SoBe (I've been to them all) for the veteran Miami-goer or seasoned backpacker who wants to be able to sleep at night, chillax in the fun common areas, & cook in the fantastic kitchen. Clean, modern, good value, 2 grocery stores nearby, & bus stop to everywhere right in front!! Great job Ike! Just pls switch to paper instead of styrofoam & recycle!

This is by far the best Hostel I've ever stayed in. Has everything you want, plus yacusi and Saturday BBQ which rocks by the way. The only downside is that the walk to the beach is a Little long.

Great atmosphere. Can improve on organization- I booked two rooms to be together in the same room, and we ended up in different rooms. Night manager was confused on this and wasn't very helpful. Can improve on cleanliness too- my bathroom tub's paint was peeled off, and I had no soap in the soft soap dispenser. Bathrooms could have been cleaner.

The manager didn't really understand me and what I wanted and merganser angry easily. But the place itself is nice, somehow like a green oasis in urban jungle of Miami beach.

I only get 1 month a year from work to travel the country and I always start in Miami. For the pass 3 years I have choose the Miami Hostel each time. The Manager E.K. is a great guy. He is very friendly, punctual, and accommodating. I was glad to see that this year they have started many renovations and I must say the place looks amazing. I also noticed that there were some new employees since last year and I must say that the new guys need to learn to have a bit more patience.

A really chilled out hostel. I liked the atmosphere the staff and the kitchen. The included breakfast was not really a breakfast but more like coffee and a bagel.
