I have stayed at the Miami Hotel several times now - it is has excellent staff who are very helpful. It is quiet and excellently located. Free vouchers for an excellent coffees from the coffee shop were a very pleasant and welcome surprise. I love this place.

We stayed there a week and absolutely enjoyed The Miami. The rooms and facilities are very clean. The money value is great, it is quiet and the reception stuff is kind. If you're looking for a really good an cheap accommodation we suggest this hotel, but you need to accept the distance to the city center.(20 min walking to southern cross)

The bedding was really old and gross... The rooms were tiny but at least they had a sink. The bathrooms were separate from the showers and you needed your key cards to get in which was kind of annoying. The lobby looks very nice, but the rest of the place looks old and kind of crappy. The location is pretty far from downtown Melbourne. Had to buy a bus pass. Not many options though for hostels in Melbourne for a cheap price.

It is good to have a night bell at the entrance. The smart key system strengthens our confidence a lot. The only thing that needs to be improved is the removal of odour in the kitchen.

Not a hostel but still nice accomodation. Kitchen is defenitely way too small for that amount of people. Additionally, the internet is too expensive. Otherwise, its clean and staff is friendly and its quite near the city.

There was the spinner-washer next to our room and every morning it made loud noises.

great little place, private room with twin beds, shared dining area downstairs/coffee bar with tvs and shared kitchen, also shared bathroom and toilets. quiet place, very clean, rooms were cleaned once a daystaff were great, manager seemed a bit grumpy at times and assumed multiple times we were going to stereosonic haha no thanks. but yeah great lil place, all round good value, right next to north melbourne shops/cafes/restaurants/pubs/comedy club. 15 minute walk to town/5 minutes on the tram

The WiFi is by far too expensive. The fridge in room is an advantage, a desk in room would be good. Breakfast is really expensive in comparison for what you get (toast, coffee, cereals, eggs). Kitchen staff is very unfriendly, although breakfast is on until 9.00 am, everything was removed by 8.50am.

We stayed for nearly two weeks. Very good value for money.! Very friendly staff! The only thing we didn´t like, was the frequent bashing of the doors in the morning at times the hostel was fully booked. We definitely would stay again at Miami Hotel Melbourne.
