This is more like a hotel. We stayed there for 5 nights and would definitely stay again. The staff was absolutely great and helpful. We were very surprised about the clean shared bathroom and toilets. The room is basic but we had a tv, a fridge and even a small sink. What else do you need.

A well-priced, budget hotel with the advantage of being quite close to the city and the Queen Victoria Markets. Water pressure in the shower was good, staff were helpful and the place was not noisy like a backpackers.

Really cosy place to stay. Close to the action and still in quiet area. One disadvantage: no free internet (like in most of Australia)...

I thought everything was fantastic, quality and value for money. My only complaint is that the double bed was infact two single beds pushed together. This is the ONLY reason I had to mark facilities as average.

I came to Australia to emigrate, daughting enough but the staff at the miami hotel made me feel very welcome and they were always there to help and give me support at any time of day which made the first few days easier at such a hard time for me, especially over the festive period. Thankyou to you all. The only thing i think that could have helped more would have been to provide things such as soap etc for the rooms for people like me who have come over with nothing.

Very well located, subway across the road! very close to markets, only dissapintment was that the fridge in our room wasn't cold enough (even when cranked on full blast), would definitely stay here again! could use a bar but theres plenty of pubs nearby

This hotel is in a great position - quiet qt night and only a few minutes from the city center by tram. There is internet and vending machines to cover most of your needs 24/7 and it is very close to the Victoria Markets and a 24/7 Internet Cafe (Cydus).

Front reception staff were extremely freindly and helpful every time. Was pleasantly surprised to find such a clean and tidy environment. Crisp clean sheets, lovely towels, celan and well set up kitchen and the bathrroms and toilets were actually cleaner than mine at home, really lovely. For the budget traveller, you wouldn't need to stay in a hotel as the Miami has cooking facilities which make travelling easier, cheaper and convenient. Would definately stay again!!!

Got exactly what the previous comments have said. Clean, cheap and close to the city. Number 57 tram is your best friend. Very happy customer.

Its a place to stay, not really somewhere to hangout and party. There is a awesome Comedy Lounge a 3minute walk up the road which is fantastic value

I like a hotel/hostel that has a lounge type area where you get to meet fellow travellers for a chat and find out whats good in the city, Miami did not have a relaxed communal area that encouraged interaction. The staff were friendly and there 24/7, which was nice. They organised the bus to the airport as well. It was really close to the tram so access to the city was really easy and they had lots of info on things to do

Very good facilities more like a hotel with kitchens and laundry facilities. Good helpful staff. Would stay again. Local shops for food and takeaways I walked to the nearest stop of the free tourist bus service (approx 10- 15 mins) rather than pay to use the closer trams.

EXCELLENT hostel! The staff was beyond friendly and helpful and they were willing to go above and beyond to help us out - even going so far as to open the laundry room late one night since we had to leave early the next day. The breakfast they offered was amazing as well, and the rooms were very nice for the price. Don't expect a 5-star resort, but for the price it really can't be beat. The only downside is the location is a bit far away, but it's an easy walk to the trams!
