There was an ongoing problem with the wifi connection as it went continuously on-off and made it hard to stay connected.

The hostel was a bit cramped and dingy . I have stayed in nicer ones. The premises could do with some renovation. However, the staff were helpful and the facilities are OK. The location is very convenient and it represents good value for money.

Not the cleanest hostel and bed and mattress were quite worn. location right in the center comes at the price of no parking nearby (parked at an NCP car park 20 min away) and a high noise level at night on weekends.

This is a comfy wee place right in the centre of town - it's not very modern, but has excellent free wifi, a gorgeous kitchen, and a friendly, relaxing (not party-driven) atmosphere.

Absolutely loved the customer service. Marc & Akmal really made us feel at home. They were friendly, welcoming and approachable. They were hospitable, printing our bus tickets, and were always there if we needed anything. Definitely the best service we have ever received at a hostel anywhere. The location is top notch, and security is excellent as well. The hostel provides free wifi, tea and coffee, a fridge for storing food, and appliances to cook food as well. We will definitely come back!

The MidTown Hostel is a small hostel in Nottingham. It does not receive as many hosts as a hostel in London, for example. As such, it is a quiet place. But it is located in the center of the city. It felt to me like a `bed and breakfast`, which was what I was looking for.

Has great potential with its location and size but lacked an atmosphere and staff sat around at their computers all day while the manager seemed a bit aggressive towards staff. They have the ability to create a great hostel with a bit of work. It just felt they couldn't be bothered.

Nice, friendly hostel located right in the heart of Nottingham. Welcoming, friendly staff - home-way-from-home type of place.

It was a fantastic place to stay, and the people (staff and other residents) were all utterly lovely! Thank you ever so much, I'll definitely be recommending you, and will stay again if coming to Nottingham in the future. x

Wicked location right in the centre of town. Reasonably comfy beds and spacious rooms. Although unfortunately I was bitten by bed bugs on one foot which left it swollen for days. Wouldn't recommend unless it was the only hostel left in Nottingham.
