Very nice place young atmosphere all around very nice stuff and we had really good time there
Very big 'party hostel' in the center of town. Although its great for a couple of days, having good facilities and nice rooms, it gets a bit tiresome and quite expensive. If you are looking for a more intmate and local experence I would definitly avoid.
Loved staying at Millhouse Hipo. The staff was so helpful. Fun atmosphere with lots of backpackers. Very easy to meet people. There were plenty of bathrooms that were clean. We had air conditioning in our room as well which was great. Lots of hostel activities as well which were very easy to participate in.
Pure party hostel. Would not recommend if you are looking for a quiet chill time in BA. How they expect 6 people to sleep in a dorm room with no air con or window is beyond me
Great hostel with a friendly atmosphere! Buen fiestas:) helpful staff and good central location. Would definitely go back.
The best hostel I've stayed in yet. Super social, very well cleaned and perfect location.
Probably the most fun hostel I've ever stayed at.

Fantastic atmosphere. Super inclusive. Great evening events. Clean hotel. Nice breakfast. Very helpful. What more do you need.
The hostel is good, has everything you need, kitchen, bar etc etc and is also clean. In regards to the party atmosphere, 20:1 Sausage to Mole ratio. The choice is yours
best hostel i have ever stayed at. Great vibe, facilities, organisation and staff. Loved it and would not stay anywhere else in BA
Good hostel, staff are really nice and helpful. Facilities are good and the location also. Parties every night and recommendations on where to go after. One thing to improve- the price was pretty high (250 pesos per night).
Overall great hostel but way overpriced than it should!
Nice hostel staff are great. Great place to stay
I had a private room and the bathroom was surprisingly clean. The furnishing is old school wood furniture that doesn't go with the rest of the hostel, but overall the room was decent. I was a bit concerned it would be loud as Milhouse is known to be a party hostel, but even as the nightly party went on downstairs, I was able to take a nap from 10pm-midnight without being bothered by any noise from the party itself. Staff are friendly and helpful!
Milhouse had great atmosphere. But that's where it ended. There were some really cool staff but some of the staff were stand-offish the whole time. The place didn't have a family hostel feel, it felt like business and we were just the next batch of money spending gringos. And did we spend money, place charged you extra if you wanted air con in your room and didn't even run it during the day when it was literally unbearably hot to be in it. Wifi was terrible. Kitchen had no utensils at all.
Some of the staff are actually very nice so not to tar all, but others were found wanting. 250 pesos a night in rooms that are absolutely boiling! You need to pay more again for the privilige of air con. No wifi in the rooms so you cant have a quiet night in. You literally either laid sweating bored in a room or you need to go to the bar, a complete ploy to get you spending more at the overpriced bar. Go for the party, but not much else. Btw, there is no tv room.
Great party hostel, friendly staff, good breakfast
Best hostel we've stayed in so far in South America. The atmosphere is so good and the staff are great (especially Ben, Liam and Nick). Would definitely recommend the smaller Milhouse over Avenue. The rooms were cleaned a lot and so were the bathrooms. Deffo a party hostel!
Great party hostel, with too many activities, enjoyed the bike tour a lot...too bad my phone charger was stolen from my bed in the first night
The brekky was fantastic! It's a very sociable place and easy to meet people. The staff were lovely and friendly also. I preferred Hippo to Avenue because it's smaller and has a more homey feel to it! Would definitely go back again!
