One of my favourite hostels in South America, staff are all amazing, extremely friendly and knowledgable. Really nice building and spacious rooms. Only negative is the showers which were very hit and miss if you would get hot water or sometimes any water at all. Apart from that I would recommend this hostel to anyone!

I enjoyed my time here, good facilities and rooms with balcony if you're lucky. The only bad thing to say really, and it was really bad was the cleaning and maintance staff. Every morning they walk in, most of the time without knocking, and start to clean your room whilst your trying to sleep. The door staff also walked in at 5am once. If you cherish your sleep ins, your out of luck. Also was a lot tamer than I expected, maybe try to stay in avenue as its bigger.

Best hostel. Decent breakfast and really good and value for money tours going on every day with lots of people. Obviously a party hostel- drinks start at 7/8 after the free tango lesson everyday and then the night begins. I would recommend not following blindly the nights out that they do as there are normally better nights out in buenos aires if you talk to any Argentinians. But it's the best place to pre drink, start the night and have fun. Brilliant Asado and tango night too!

Fantastic hostel - the best we'd stayed in by a mile! It's more of a hotel really - especially if you get a private room. Staff are fantastic, location is great, facilities are great - probably the only let down was the breakfast. Great place and would highly recommend!!

The staff at reception are amazing and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Awesome happy hour and the bartenders (when it's staffed) make pretty stiff drinks. Plenty of clean bathrooms. Could be intimidating for a solo traveler since most people staying here traveled in groups. Just a little pricey when comparing it to other hostels in the city.

If you want a hostel where you can just party and meet people who also just want to party this is the place. there is a party here every other night till 2am. Breakfast is great. the place is run like a tight business you won't get the "at home, trusted traveler" feeling here. The location is perfect.

We ended up doing 8 mental days at Millhouse Hipo. I would say the Millhouse avenue (5 mins walk) Is the better of the two. Either way you'll end up having a blast! Plan to do cultural persuits in the day as it's very easy just to sleep after being out all night.

Great atmosphere, great hostel, great accommodations. Unfortunately there seems to be a bit of a roach problem in the kitchen and near the bar area.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at! Spacious rooms, clean sheets and nice bathroom. Great location, highly recommend for both people looking to party or just relax. No issues with WiFi.

Milhouse Hipo is the place to stay if you want to party.in BA. My girlfriend and I stayed on a Thursday night in a private room. They had free tango lessons then a preparty for the night activities. We met a ton of people and ended up going to Club 69 in Palermo with a group of about 10. It was a great night. Drinks are a little expensive at the hostel bar but you have no other option. If you want a hostel that organizes activities well and a place to party, choose Milhouse.

Location was good, yet there's no curb appeal whatsoever. You could walk right by it if you weren't paying attention. The majority of the staff were helpful and friendly, but some not so much. I get the sense they're not paid enough to do their job. It's a party atmosphere, which was expected; however, the party oftentimes moved out by the rooms--not what you want to hear at 0600! Overall, I'd recommend it for location and atmosphere. Just temper your expectations and be prepared for the noise.

Overall a good place to stay. The rules about having no alcohol in the rooms or upstairs are pretty annoying. Also the rule about only having a/c from 11pm to 11am and charging 20 pesos per person for the a/c suck.

My stay at Milhouse Hipo was amazing. The hostel is pretty well located with an excellent staff and they also offer you a variety of activities to do around the city. When I come back to BA I will definitely stay there again. :))

Look pretty decent hostel if you are in Buenos Aires to party and get f---ed up! If your here for this reason than its the perfect hostel. But I mean if your like me and need a break from party all the time, then I highly recommend stay a max of 2 nights here and then somewhere else. Party is pretty wild, ammenities are standard (nothing special). Staff were helpful! Location is great, right near the centre of town.

It was so hot! Rooms needed air conditioning considering the cost. The bar was great and there was so much to do everyday. The staff were amazing
