Clean & comfortable hostel, has many activities on so easy to meet people. Food is reasonably priced but drinks are pricey for a hostel. I like hat Avenue & Hipo alternate party night, so you can attend or chill depending what you want. Kitchen isn't great; pans without handles etc.
Milhouse´s Atmosphere is incredible! Parties and lots of activities every day and night. It´s definetely a place to make new friends, drink a lot and have fun. The only thing that I didnt like was that money was stolen from my purse inside the Hostel, during a party. I asked the Staff for help but they didnt seem to care a lot.... So watch out your belongings.

The most talked about Hostel in Buenos Aires and completely up to the expectations! Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and it's a great place to meet others in the common area. Rooms are large, secure and really really nice but you expect that for the price you are paying. There is definitely cheaper options but I couldn't have been happier and was worth the extra money.
Great location just next to the avenienda de Mayo. The staff were more than helpful with directions and using the public transport. I had a four bed dorm with a balcony which was lovely. The rooms were spotless but the toilets could have been cleaner. Make sure you lock everything away in your locker though as the cleaners took half a bottle of wine (bought from the hostel) from my room which was slightly annoying. Otherwise a great stay
The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, suggesting things to do and places to see. They will also help organise airport transfers and bus bookings. The dorm was clean and had a private bathroom. I booked this hostel as it is a known party hostel, and party we did. But if you actually want to see Buenos Aires without a raging headache, maybe book here for a couple of nights, get your partying out of the way then relocate to a quieter hostel. Thanks for a great time Milhouse Hipo!
Great atmosphere and great staff! Congrats!
I really enjoyed my stay at Milhouse and extended two times! The staff are really friendly and helpful, the tours of the city are great, the breakfast is huge! It's a fun hostel with parties and happy hours if you want to join in, and comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms too. Great hostel - would totally recommend!
Fun staff. Good place for meeting other travelers and partying.
One of my favourite hostels in South America, staff are all amazing, extremely friendly and knowledgable. Really nice building and spacious rooms. Only negative is the showers which were very hit and miss if you would get hot water or sometimes any water at all. Apart from that I would recommend this hostel to anyone!
Had an amazing staying, the staff was excellent , very friendly ! Safe, clean, well located, I totally recommend and can't wait to go back !

I enjoyed my time here, good facilities and rooms with balcony if you're lucky. The only bad thing to say really, and it was really bad was the cleaning and maintance staff. Every morning they walk in, most of the time without knocking, and start to clean your room whilst your trying to sleep. The door staff also walked in at 5am once. If you cherish your sleep ins, your out of luck. Also was a lot tamer than I expected, maybe try to stay in avenue as its bigger.
Best hostel. Decent breakfast and really good and value for money tours going on every day with lots of people. Obviously a party hostel- drinks start at 7/8 after the free tango lesson everyday and then the night begins. I would recommend not following blindly the nights out that they do as there are normally better nights out in buenos aires if you talk to any Argentinians. But it's the best place to pre drink, start the night and have fun. Brilliant Asado and tango night too!
Fantastic hostel - the best we'd stayed in by a mile! It's more of a hotel really - especially if you get a private room. Staff are fantastic, location is great, facilities are great - probably the only let down was the breakfast. Great place and would highly recommend!!
The staff at reception are amazing and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Awesome happy hour and the bartenders (when it's staffed) make pretty stiff drinks. Plenty of clean bathrooms. Could be intimidating for a solo traveler since most people staying here traveled in groups. Just a little pricey when comparing it to other hostels in the city.
If you want a hostel where you can just party and meet people who also just want to party this is the place. there is a party here every other night till 2am. Breakfast is great. the place is run like a tight business you won't get the "at home, trusted traveler" feeling here. The location is perfect.
We ended up doing 8 mental days at Millhouse Hipo. I would say the Millhouse avenue (5 mins walk) Is the better of the two. Either way you'll end up having a blast! Plan to do cultural persuits in the day as it's very easy just to sleep after being out all night.
Really fun hostel - especially with the sister hostel for tango lessons and nights out. Happy hour at the bar is great and the free breakfast was good
Great atmosphere, great hostel, great accommodations. Unfortunately there seems to be a bit of a roach problem in the kitchen and near the bar area.
Best hostel I've ever stayed at! Spacious rooms, clean sheets and nice bathroom. Great location, highly recommend for both people looking to party or just relax. No issues with WiFi.
