MilHouse Hipo for me was not as great as in Cusco. Staff is nice and the common space is nice. Showers, beds, and lockers are amazing. Cons: the kitchen was probably the worst equipped kitchen I have used with only 1 burner on the stove working thus making cooking take unnecessarily long. Only other con was the key situation as I continuously was locked out of my dorm room because people took the keys and didn't give it back to reception. Overall, it was fine.

We booked two nights in Milhouse Hipo on hostel world, unfortunately Milhouse Hipo were actually fully booked so I shouldn't have been able to make a reservation. However, the staff at Milhouse Hipo & Avenue were fantastic and gave us a free upgrade to a private room in Milhouse Avenue. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, great hostel & fantastic atmosphere. Milhouse is a party hostel, there's something on every night, very well organised

A hostel that has success by their reputation as the place to party in Buenos Aires, which was very well organised. However there was a lack of care for the wellbeing of guests. I told the staff 3 times about the broken heater in our room, and not once did they try to fix it. It's not difficult to have a maintenance person to deal with these issues. Also the bathrooms were constantly dirty, and they need wifi on more than one floor. The hostel would be better if they sort out these small issues.

First time traveling alone and staying here made me feel more comfortable doing so! Met so many great people and had a great time. Definitely recommend to anyone who's up to meet new people and explore the night life in Buenos Aires.

Clean & comfortable hostel, has many activities on so easy to meet people. Food is reasonably priced but drinks are pricey for a hostel. I like hat Avenue & Hipo alternate party night, so you can attend or chill depending what you want. Kitchen isn't great; pans without handles etc.

Milhouse´s Atmosphere is incredible! Parties and lots of activities every day and night. It´s definetely a place to make new friends, drink a lot and have fun. The only thing that I didnt like was that money was stolen from my purse inside the Hostel, during a party. I asked the Staff for help but they didnt seem to care a lot.... So watch out your belongings.

The most talked about Hostel in Buenos Aires and completely up to the expectations! Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and it's a great place to meet others in the common area. Rooms are large, secure and really really nice but you expect that for the price you are paying. There is definitely cheaper options but I couldn't have been happier and was worth the extra money.

Great location just next to the avenienda de Mayo. The staff were more than helpful with directions and using the public transport. I had a four bed dorm with a balcony which was lovely. The rooms were spotless but the toilets could have been cleaner. Make sure you lock everything away in your locker though as the cleaners took half a bottle of wine (bought from the hostel) from my room which was slightly annoying. Otherwise a great stay

The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, suggesting things to do and places to see. They will also help organise airport transfers and bus bookings. The dorm was clean and had a private bathroom. I booked this hostel as it is a known party hostel, and party we did. But if you actually want to see Buenos Aires without a raging headache, maybe book here for a couple of nights, get your partying out of the way then relocate to a quieter hostel. Thanks for a great time Milhouse Hipo!

Spent a week and a half here and had to drag myself away! Loved this place, the staff are so friendly, with perfect English and all I did was party at night and see the city in the day. Such a great place I love it. ONLY thing was that there is a porn theatre next door so when staying in certain rooms all you can hear is porn all day. Good parties at night and Avenue is near so can meet double the people. Literally so drunk most of the time, such a good hostel!

I really enjoyed my stay at Milhouse and extended two times! The staff are really friendly and helpful, the tours of the city are great, the breakfast is huge! It's a fun hostel with parties and happy hours if you want to join in, and comfortable rooms and clean bathrooms too. Great hostel - would totally recommend!

One of my favourite hostels in South America, staff are all amazing, extremely friendly and knowledgable. Really nice building and spacious rooms. Only negative is the showers which were very hit and miss if you would get hot water or sometimes any water at all. Apart from that I would recommend this hostel to anyone!

I enjoyed my time here, good facilities and rooms with balcony if you're lucky. The only bad thing to say really, and it was really bad was the cleaning and maintance staff. Every morning they walk in, most of the time without knocking, and start to clean your room whilst your trying to sleep. The door staff also walked in at 5am once. If you cherish your sleep ins, your out of luck. Also was a lot tamer than I expected, maybe try to stay in avenue as its bigger.

Best hostel. Decent breakfast and really good and value for money tours going on every day with lots of people. Obviously a party hostel- drinks start at 7/8 after the free tango lesson everyday and then the night begins. I would recommend not following blindly the nights out that they do as there are normally better nights out in buenos aires if you talk to any Argentinians. But it's the best place to pre drink, start the night and have fun. Brilliant Asado and tango night too!

Fantastic hostel - the best we'd stayed in by a mile! It's more of a hotel really - especially if you get a private room. Staff are fantastic, location is great, facilities are great - probably the only let down was the breakfast. Great place and would highly recommend!!
