Flexible booking is a con. Though there could be some discretion in amending bookings, like with most things in Peru they're just quick to take your money. Dirty bed linen and towels, noisy communal areas very late at night. The best things to be said are that they keep the bathrooms clean and the bar has live music and good food. Shame about everything else. Hostelworld also do little to mediate in light of problems. Won't use again or recommend.

The best hostel I've been to. Where do i start? The staff goes out of its way to help you, rooms are great (I'd recommend a four-person dorm); the bathroom is modern and clean; they have large open spaces with natural light, table tennis, hammocks, bean bags; a good breakfast and a decent bar which doubles as a club on party nights. The only downside I can think of is that music from the bar is a little loud if there's a party going on. If you have a ground floor room however, that's no biggie.

We enjoyed our short stay at this hostel. It was far better then some of the US Motels we've stayed in the past and would recommend this to anyone. We enjoyed a good night sleep and the staff was AWESOME. Lots of activities to do within this Hostel.

My friend and I stayed 3 nights here before our inca trek. We stayed in a private room with two beds for an unbelievable price. It was clean and staff was nice. After the trek we stayed at a nice hotel that was 90 USD per night and it wasn't that much fancier than the accommodations at milhouse. Would def recommend. Great location in cusco too!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. The 12bed dorm that you stayed at has two sinks, 2 toilets and 2 showers inside the room. The whole bathroom area is cleaned at least two times a day, and checked by our HKs 4 times a day. Of course sometimes they can get dirty without us knowing immediately, which is what probably happened. If we had had a heads up from you, we would have cleaned it at the moment to make you feel fully comfortable in your room of preference =). Safe travels! Jessica

If you've been to milhouse in BA prepare to be disappointed. The rooms in cusco are squishy and there was no social vibe. The milhouse tried to create a vibe by putting on events but no one seemed to go.

Really too much noisy, no naturel light in the rooms. Zero nights quiet, without someone shouting next the dors of the rooms. Breakfast and bar are nice.

This is a "party hostel", but not to the same "hardcore" degree as the Millhouses in Buenos Aries - people tend to head to the Wild Rover around the corner for that kind of experience. The bar is really good, breakfast excellent, and the rooms are modern and very comfortable and spacious. There is a travel agency onsite, we booked our jungle trek here and would highly recommend it. The internet was fairly useless.

The hostel is clean and the breakfast is good. The showers weren't top notch and the atmosphere isn't great - we ended up going to the wild rover several times for the atmosphere.

This hostel is a big hostel, lots of people to socialize with. Beautiful courtyards and clean facilities. Good location, but the WiFi is terrible, the breakfast buffet mediocre, not very good amenities, and the non Peruvian staff very standoffish for the comparatively high prices you pay for dorm accommodation.

Great hostel and great enviroment. So close to the main square.

Nice hostel to spend the night in, but we were only here one night because we were just passing through town to get to Machu Picchu. The hostel was nice with good common spaces (they would be great in nice weather) and very nice beds, but the wi-fi was awful. It was also in a good location that was pretty close to the main square.

We stayed in 4 different rooms over a week, including private and dorms.. some rooms are great, some not so great. Beautiful building, great breakfast, great location. Some staff were really friendly and helpful, others not so much. The travel agent was terrible... book your trips through one of the other hundred agents in cusco. Overall though we loved it.

If you wanna meet young travelers and have a good time near everything, this is a good place to do that. If you wanna get your beauty sleep it can be tricky with the loud music emanating from the bar. I also had loud roommates, but that's just down to luck. Staff always helpful, big hostel is pretty clean.
