great hostel, good location, really helpful staff at the tour desk. Good bar and atmosphere, although a little loud at night when trying to sleep. Great dorm beds that provide privacy and your own reading lamp. All in all a great place to stay!
Loved our stay at Milhouse. The bar is great and fun, although dinner service can be slow and the food average. We got free cocktails though so definitely not complaining! The atomosphere is varied - you can chill out or party, depending on your preference. We stayed right underneath the bar but still slept soundly at night. Great beds with personal lamp and PowerPoint, the dividers between the beds also give heaps of privacy. Bathrooms are clean and lockers large and secure.Definitely recommend
If you are not looking for parties, that is definitely not the place to stay. The inside is nice and the breakfast as well, however there was a party with a DJ that was supposed to be from 21h-23h and it passed 1AM. It was impossible to sleep! The shower took ages to warm up.
We loved the relaxed atmosphere, the table tennis, the availability of internet, and the breakfasts. It was too noisy at night for us but we're not normal hostel guests. The laundry came out none too clean.
Lovely hostel, hot showers and even baths in the dorms. Super clean. Great bar/common room. Silent rooms. Biggish beds. An actual FREE city tour and a very good one as well! Really good included breakfast. Will be coming back!
Milhouse is a great place and a great hostel, no doubt about that. As recommendations for improvements: - Change bunk-bed stairs, those you have in the dorms are really terrible! - Make sure that you always have (full) oxygen bottles available - you may save someone's life!!
BEST HOTEL WEVE BEEN STAYING IN!!!! great location, great people, very clean, excellent breakfast and dishes at the bar!!! the place to be!!!
Awesome hostel! Would definitely stay here again! The ball pit is the best bit! :)
I really liked Milhouse backpackers. The showers were hot, the breakfast was good, and the food ordered from the kitchen was delicious. Staff was excellent and let us change rooms to a room with wifi when ours couldn't pick it up. I recommend staying here.
The hostel is very nice and beautiful. The breakfast room is lovely and the staff is really friendly.
We really liked our stay here. It's the biggest hostel I've ever seen, but still they manage to make your stay cosy and fun. They have a big bar, so it's a good place for partying and chilling, but since it is so big, we didn't really hear the music in our room :). The beds are really good as well, with wooden boards around a part of the bed and everybody has its own small light. IMPORTANT: do you wanne book a trip to machu picchu or what so ever, do it here!
Great stay, no problems and would reccomend for sure!
Good staff, atmosphere and security. The rooms are comfortable and silent.

Hostel was great. Rooms were clean and modern looking. Best feature in my opinion was the water pressure of the shower. Those of you heading to Cusco for the Inca trail would be happy to know that you can leave your baggage here till your are back from the trek. In fact, my friends and I continued staying here after our trek. Breakfast is great, good variety. Facilities such as pingpong tables provides entertainment while you rest in the hostel. Only gripe is that one has to wear the wristband
They have weird security rules - you can't lock your room and you aren't allowed to bring any alcohol to the hostel. However, you can get as much alcohol as you want in the hostel bar, so it's questionable whether they protect security of their guests or their income from the bar. Apart from it, the hostel is fine.
shud be 6-7 soles from bus station, please shop around for macchu picchu deals,$230 for 1 day trip.train costs 10 soles for locals each way not $100!.ollantaytanbo to aguas calientes.good hostel, nice food and beer, well run.
Nice hostel. Staff were very good and helpful. The bar was good, but not as much of a party as I was expecting. I guess cos everyone is either preparing for or coming back from hiking. The on-site travel agency prices were good and I used them a couple of times. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was better than most hostels of this kind. The lockers in the rooms were not fully enclosed which was a bit annoying/strange. You still had to lock up bags while they were in the locker. Recommended
