This is my 3rd time staying here so its testament that I like this hostel and its staff. There are a few quirks as there are with every hostel. It's a little far from town (800-1,000 taxi). The mixed dorm contains the storage room, the lockers and by experience the preferred toilet so these make for regular disturbances and people entering that are not necessarily staying in the dorm. That said its a nice hostel in a lovely grounds. The staff are very helpful.

Millimani is a pretty nice place to stay away from the city center. Due to its location, I think it is ideal for staying if you want to avoid the chaos of Nairobi but of course, it is not ideal for taking advantage of the city's activities and nightlife. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the double rooms were a pretty good size and value, although fans might be good for hot weather. The beautiful grounds were definitely a plus as well.

The staff is very friendly but they dont seem to know many things, so it is better not to ask them for information, coz they will recommend to book something through them which is not going to be the cheapest option, they dont seem to be interested in u saving money but spending more, even on the Nairobi Natural park they should know better that u can even book a place at the entrace on a car but tey simply suggest to hire a taxi with them, wich is not the best option and it is more expensive.
