Great hostel with huge dorms yet a homely feel. Sweet patio with mountain views and only 10 minutes walk to the centre. Yuri was also a legend.

It is not the first time I am staying at Milingona Hostel. The staff is very friendly and happy to help. It is a homely place and you can feel very confortable. It is very clean and has got all the facilities a backpacker or any kind of traveller would need for his trip. The breakfast is delicious with specialities of the country. The place is quite central. I would definitely suggest it to other people. Have a nice stay and a lovely trip to this beautiful country.

A really great hostel experience. Our host Uli, who is part of the family who owns Millingona in addition to being a cool guy, welcomed us like guests in his home. From extra blankets for our tent to info on the best places to visit in Tirana, he made sure we had everything we needed. There's also a nice common balcony overlooking the neighborhood with a view of Mount Dajt. Very friendly atmosphere and a great place to meet other travelers. Til next time!

I was literally the only one there so there was no atmosphere at all but on the bright side I got a whole dorm to myself. it seems like it'd be good in summer. It's too far from the centre and on the opposite side of town from where the concentration of good bars and restaurants is. Also there seemed to be only one electrical socket in the whole dorm.

Milingona is in more of a neighborhood than the city center which I liked. Some may not like the walking involved or using public transport, but I like it for seeing more of a city than the main attractions. Everything you need near. The staff are really great-- helpful with figuring out transportation and activities, and, best of all, genuine in their interactions. The kitchen is adequate and the rooms are spacious but there is no means of locking up valuables. Can be chilly in the winter.

Old but clean hostel a bit too far from the center (lo g 15 min walk) but with some restaurants and shops around. I imagine the garden is a big plus in the summer!!

Amazing hostel. Cool graffiti and a really nice family run place. Decent breakfast with eggs and veggies and bread etc. My only problem was no lockers but I locked a cabinet and they have a safety box behind the counter. Great view from up top and really nice and unique personality. All in all, highly recommended.

A great place to stay, the owner is awesome, always about to answer questions & very hospitable, sharing anything he may have, like desserts, juices, he even got me some good tea for my sick belly!! Thanks heaps, i had a great time! The walk to the centre does take a few minutes, but worth it to see a locals area of the city!
