Lovely hostel and staff. Quiter than other hostels too.

Really liked it here. It was quiet-ish at the time of my visit but that didn't detract at all from the fun time I had here. The fridge facility was a life saver in many ways ;) The staff here were fantastic, really going out of their way to help every guest as much as possible. Was really humbling. Location is a little bit out of the centre of town but I really liked it here. Just a shame the weather was so bad in Tirane at the time. I'd have liked to check out the balcony :) Well done!

A little piece of home away from home -) there are no staff in this hostel, just friends waiting to make sure you have a great time in Tirana -)you feel right at home here, and great value for money with breakfast included, Yoga is a great and friendly dog and makes the hostel feel more like your childhood home -) I ORIGINALLY BOOKED FOR JUST 2 NIGHTS BUT COULD NOT HELP BUT STAY FOR 3 MORE, AS DID SOME OF THE OTHER GUESTS HERE,A GREAT PLACE WITH A GREAT FAMILY IN IT -) BEST WISHES TO ALL!!!!!!

We had one of our best stays ever at milingona hostel. Helpful, friendly, caring and simply great staff made our stay a perfect one in Albania. Nice rooms, great location, peaceful atmosphere and a steady breakfast for a low cost. We recommend this hostel to every traveller that passes Tirana. Many thanks, Jens and Daniel, Sweden.

We loved the staff at Millingona! Many thanks to Zhujeta, Juli & Verona for everything! They were very helpful and accommodating.

Great hostel. The staff is amazing, and so helpful, they even took us out to a party that we enjoyed a lot. The room was big and clean and the two heaters in the room made the room so warm. Its only 10 min to the Skanderbeg Square I stayed longer because of all this positive atmosphere and the lovely staff. Thank you guys, I will be back and I definitely recommend you this hostel .

This is definitely the best choice in Tirana. The staff was so friendly and warm and they make me feel really welcome in their country. Milingona was a great experience and I could meet new friends and try great food and raki. Albanian winter was kind of hard but I think that it was better than in other parts of Europe. The location is also good, near of the city center, near of buses stops, restaurants and markets. I definitely will return to Milingona in Tirana!

Nice hostel, in a good location. The owner-family were very friendly, and helpful. Cleanliness was good. My room was quite nice as it was low season, and just shared with one other person. They also had a very friendly dog called Yoga, who was very excitable! Biggest complaint was that the place was so cold, yes they had foot heaters, but I found not enough to keep you warm. As for directions, they are slightly off: When they say take the right fork, they mean the left fork!

the rooms have no air condition/heating system. so we really froze that we even could see our breath. when leaving they told us that there would have been a heater, but they charge for it extra. in warmer months it is a really nice place for sure, but in january it moreseemed like an antarcic expedition.

Everything was great except that it was low low low season and i was all but alone. Uli made for good company though, great host!

Great hostel run by very friendly and helpful family. Good location, large and spacious rooms, great balcony and view to Mt Dajti. Had a great stay and would stay here again. Thanks again to the owners who went well out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The staff is excellent, very nice, and they go out of their way to help you.

For a hostel that is still quite new, this place is very good :-)
