A lovely hostel with helpful staff.

Very friendly staff. Angela was very helpful. Little bit disconcerted that it wasn't open until 5 pm, but it was slightly out of season and only a small hostel. Very much enjoyed the stay. Fire was on in the lounge - very cosy. Peter from Manchester

A very enjoyable stay. Very well run hostel, clean and tidy, with a very well equipped kitchen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Truly a home from home, with the added benefit of the marvellous scenery of Ulster's North Coast. Could not be handier for those dependent on the buses. The two bus stops (one for Coleraine and the other for Ballycastle) are on the doorstep. A Coop supermarket and a Centra Store are within a minute of the front door. Bushmills itself is a very hospitable community

The staff were very nice and the location was excellent for visiting the Giant's Causeway. My room was very spacious and comfortable, but the shower was not very warm and there was no soap in the toilets - yuck. The free wi-fi was impossible to connect to, which was frustrating. Also, it would be nice if breakfast were offered since nothing in Bushmills seems to be open before 9:00 or 9:30 which is annoying for hikers wanting to get an early start and not wanting to carry lots of groceries!

This hostel is so nice. I used 4 female shared room, and the room has enough space for each person. In addition, there is toilet and bathroom in the room, so It was useful. On the other side, although there are rockers with key in the room, I had to use my wire rock because the locker key didn't work work...

Bushmills wasn't the most exciting town and I was hoping it would be easier to get from the Causeway from there instead of having to either rent bikes for 15 pounds a day (bit pricy), take the bus or walk 2 miles. The hostel was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in though- I was in a 6 pers female dorm that was clean and roomy enough for all of us since it had a mezzanine. The staff was nice and helpful and I used the kitchen a bunch of times although I found it a bit cramped for several people

The Mill Rest Hostel is in a quite good position, right in the center of Bushmills. Has free parking right aside and a supermarket across the street. We found it good, nice staff, quit place, good prices

Perfect position. In the city center. Bus for the Giant's Causeway just outside the hostel

When we got into the room, the previous occupant linen was already there - not nice The furniture was not very updated, and the equipment in the kitchen was rather short Worst of all is the staff did not seem to care very much about their guests. Will not be repeating for sure

Great hostel, lots of space. Actually ended up with a room to myself - must've been a quiet week! Great value for money, excellently situated - right in the centre of Bushmills, next door to a pub.

A great loation but a little tricky to find. I am used to English hostels and getting stuck in; I was not first shown to the facilities and found other guests a little 'terratorial' at breakfast; I had a well travelled German guest with me who was like-wise surprised. On the whole good; Northern Ireland has to get used to more expatriate travel and needs to change some of its old ways; open hours needs to change to accommodate arrivals all through the day. booked tables? that was a 1st!

From excellent to good for one. The second night we stayed in room 12 which was not cleaned prior to our use. We had a great time, Michael went out of his way to provide information on great places to visit. Mary was friendly and welcoming. Look forward to coming again and would love to bring some Aussie friends over. Well Done.
