Really easy to get to from the bus station if you take a bus, right by Plaza Sotomayor and near to a supermarket. It was a little out of season when I went so I was virtually the only one in the hostel. It would be fun if you went with a group maybe as it was very quiet. The lounge area is really nice and the dorms are a good size with lockers. They have a lovely little dog (so don't go if you have allergies). A little run down, especially the bathrooms, but you get what you pay for.

Didn't feel very clean, especially in bathrooms and kitchen. There was a weird smell throughout the building. They also had a dog, which was NOT included in the description, but allowed upstairs and into the living areas.

Well, the room was ready when we arrived, and was satisfactory the barthroom was disgusting. the floor under the shower and toilet was rotten with mold everywhere, The kitchen was fairly wel equiped however after seeing the state of the barthrooms we deiced to dine out each day, the owner was very nice and the breakfast was very good with yoghurt and with plenty of bread.

Facilities were dirty - scary dirty, especially the bathrooms. It didn't really look like a hostel but an old house adapted to hosting visitors. No chill out space, i.e., no opportunity to meet new people. Breakfast area was improvised and didn't feel right. No wireless. The place smelled and had many insects all over (there was even a dog living near the kitchen area). Definitely not the best place to stay whether you're trying to meet new people or in a couple like we were.

The family who run this hostel are incredibly nice and the location is excellent- right next to the main square (Plaza Sotomayor). I stayed for New Year and it was such a great choice as all the action is in and around this plaza so it was easy to pop back and forth to the hostel. It was also one of the cheapest options around. I would really recommend this place if you are a laid back person- they have a puppy and a cat and I have stayed in cleaner places but the atmosphere is really friendly.
