Mingtown Ningbo International Youth Hostel Reviews

I enjoyed staying at this hostel and will use it again. However the staff could be a bit more helpful. They also need a map which shows where local tourist spots are and where there are good places to eat and buy food.

Location is quite good! The staff are helpful. The room and the tolite are kind of small.

Good hostel. I had a private room with bathroom. The shower was nice, with plenty of warm water. The heating system worked well, it was quite cold outside (I was there in March) but my room was warm enough. There was even a TV in my bedroom. Wifi is only in the lobby but if you room is close to it, we can manage to have Wifi . No breakfast. There were very few people in the hostel, so I was really quiet but on the other hand it was hard to meet people (but it was not tourist season ).

Come here in Febrary, staff is ok, but so cold in room =( very very cold

This is my second time here. I had a much better stay this time because I was on the top floor. It was much quieter and more comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely little hostel, I can imagine that it would be really nice in the summer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is good, not too far from the central area and opposite the lake.

Nice, clean hostel with friendly and helpful staff, who spoke reasonable English. They shut the lobby and want you tucked up in bed by 11pm, but might well flex on this. The five of us enjoyed our stay. Conviently close to the bus station if you want to day-trip to Putuoshan. Next to a river so the area around is pretty.

Very helpful and nice staff. I felt that they are happy to receive guests which creates a good impression to the guests. Keep it up. Although the toilet for the mixed dorm is a bit smelly at times. Other than that, I would recommend this hostel to other travelers. I'd say it's a good value for money. I'd go back here if i get the chance to come to Ningbo again.
