Felt very safe, the location was great, I would give 10/10 for this hostel :) If you are looking to make friends drinking and partying, this hostel is the best! definitely going back here when I have time in the future! 호스텔 대박! ㅋㅋ

The place is mostly for guys who don´t care that much about cleanliness, noise or smell. Stuff were very friendly and helpful, doing their best, and other gests are residents there, who love the place. The hostel itself is bad smelling, dirty, with terrible beds and dirty linen. Nothing really works properly. It would be the worst place I have ever stayed in if it was no for friendly atmosfere and good location close to places to eat, shop, metro, right in the city center. Internet is good too.

Absolutely fantastic small hostel, there are SO many regulars there that continue coming back to Kiev and always choose to stay here. The owner is extremely nice, the workers are very friendly and eager to help out, and also there's balconies on each private room and the dorm room as well, perfect for relaxing with new friends or late-night Skyping.

Indeed worth your money, clean and nice to stay. All guests were foreign travellers, the staff was ready to help even if it was not on the duty list, close to central subway and hanging out spots.

I've tried all the good hostels in Kiev since 2008 and this one is the best and friendliest. It is no smaller than most others here and it has two toilets a shower and a bathtub. It is the most luxurious apartment I've been in. The longer you stay the more interesting people you will meet and hang out with. I'll be back.

Fun place, very welcoming staff who showed us places we otherwise wouldn't have discovered.

Mini Hostel Kiev is a place where you can get work done and party as well as having the sense that you are among good friends. The staff was simply amazing and fun to be around when you were in the hostel or out on the town with them. It was so much fun that I missed my flight and stayed another week with no complications. We often had group dinners were everyone in the hostel that wanted to eat would pitch in about 20 UAH sometimes more for ingredients and someone staying in or working at the hostel would

Of all of the hostels I’ve stayed at, this is the first that I’ve enjoyed so much that my lazy butt wanted to get up and type a review. Not only does the hostelier and owner-- Joacquin-- encourage a communal kitchen atmosphere of guests taking turns cooking-- with himself sometimes putting something on the table-- he often has organized games and bar hops, and many nights during the week he takes willing guests to the best (and inexpensive) Ukrainian bars and eateries.

The Mini Hostel is a unique experience. It is one of the most personalized hostels I ever stayed in. The hostel team is very helpful and will take you out to enjoy the cities bar scene. After a few days it almost feels like family. I'll definitely come back.

This was our first stay in a hostel, and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. Achim is the perfect host, knowing exactly when to entertain and when to back off, and his employee Dasha is the perfect complement (delicious borsch!). The hostel is always clean and well-maintained. You never feel like an outsider, from the moment you check in until you check out. The price is right, and you'll leave with plenty of memorable stories! Thanks, Achim! Sincerely, Shelly and Kyle (Ohio!)

I had no idea what to expect of Kiev when I first arrived at the hostel. But when I was provided champagne on my first night by the host Joachim (who probably has the greatest personality of anyone you will meet in the city) you instantly know that you picked the right place to stay. Joachim and Dasha will help you find the most interesting parts of the city and help plan any tours such as Chernobyl. Thanks for everything guys!!!!!

A small cozy hostel in the center of kiev very good for getting to know fellow travelers. I'd say that what sets this place apart is it's owner: a crazy german guy who'll not only do everything to make you feel comfortable but also take you to some nice places in town and, if you're lucky, maybe cook you some meal. The only annoying thing is having just one bathroom for everyone and not enough lockers...

This is the place to be in Kiev: excellent value, central location and helpful staff, with a thoughtful owner always looking to start a party (which he happens to be very good at).

I felt more "at home" than "visiting". Next time I come to Kyiv Mini Hostel is definitely my accomodation #1
