Cefalu is a charming, Medieval city perched on the Tyrrhenian coast. Cefalu is located within the boundaries of the Parco Delle Madonnie, a 40,000 hectare nature reserve containing splendid mountain landscapes, ancient villages and numerous hiking trails. The Park is a 'botanic paradise' possessing more than half of the 2600 species known to Sicily within its confines.
Cefalu is a perfect base for exploring the island's most important sites, such as Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, Syracuse and Monreal's famed cathedral.
