Minshuku Fugakuso is a simple but cozy Japanese style accommodation located in the Fuji Goko (Fuji Five Lakes) area, right by Lake Kawakuchiko - the biggest of the 5 lakes. It has easy access to major sightseeing spots in Mt. Fuji area. There are many restaurants, convenience stores and hot spring resorts near the hostel. You can enjoy beautiful nature, flowers and birds of all seasons, and relax in a nice natural hot spring bath in the area. If you want to climb Mt. Fuji, you can take a bus to the 5th station of the mountain. It only takes 50 min by bus.

The hostel has 5 Japanese style guestrooms, with a capacity of 32 people. There are 2 public baths in the hostel. You can also walk to a hot spring bath house in the neighborhood. The closest one is only 10min walk from the hostel.

If you wish to know about Japanese tea ceremony, there is a Japanese tea ceremony held from 19:00 until 21:00 every Thursday.
