Very friendly guy running the place. He speaks English very well. With common use refrigerators a dining hall, bathhouse and free tea available very homely, located close to central Nikko.

I didn't stay long, but everything was very nice. The Japanese bath was incredibly relaxing after a day of walking around Nikko. The lounge was very nice to unwind before heading to sleep. Yuji was incredibly friendly and spoke perfect English. If I return to Nikko, I will attempt to stay again. Thanks!

We would recommend this place to anyone. It was a very comfortable traditional Japanese ryokan. Yuji-san is a wonderful host, definitely use him as a resource on where to go and how to get there. It is a little hard to find, so either call the guest house when you arrive, or a very short taxi ride from the station. Also, not a lot of restaurants nearby, so best to plan dinner closer into town. Nice, simple breakfast is served at the hotel. Great find, will definitely stay there again!
