Atmosphere is extremely nice in Agaihama Hostel. It feels like home and I met a lot of nice people there. I even having breakfast and dinner with them too. The helper, Aki is can speak very well English and very nice. Initially, I am planned to stay one night only. However, I stayed at there for two nights finally and still feeling not enough.

I loved this welcoming place. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly, the staff ( Aki-san) speak english perfectly and is very helpful. But if you come here, it would be tempting to do nothing, just having a great rest time in the house ! Perfect for the end of a journey if you want to share your travel experience :)

Superb host. Good value compared to the rest of the island.

Super relax hostel, at walking distance from the beach. Staff super friendly and hostel well deserved by buses despite not being in Naha center. Great for a laid back stay in Okinawa.

This would probably be a great place to stay if you spoke fluent Japanese, and I don’t, so it wasn’t a great fit. I did make the mistake of not double checking the location, so just to emphasize, this no where close to Naha. Be prepared to spend a lot of money and time getting there and back. That said, if you want to be in the quiet, suburbs of Okinawa Honto, with little night life and stay at a very chilled out guesthouse with a nice atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Very friendly visit: more of a homestay than hostel. Great traditional feel, owner played shanshin in the evenings, had some interesting stories. Cat is friendly too. Supermarket and organic market nearby, beach is a short walk away. Miss it already! Would definitely go back :)
