It is just amazing how much you get for that price. Great vibe. Would be happy to stay there one more time.

Compared to similar places for about the same price in better locations nearby, this place could really use some love. My dorm had no lockers, the place was drab, it wasn't particularly clean, and it was really more of a hospedaje than a hostel. No huge issues, but I moved after one night.

my stay at the hostel was very nice. i can definitely recommend it :)

Very helpful stuff (thanks Victor! we had great time with you and lots of valuable information!) but general condition of the hostel is kind of terrible. Dirty walls, "en-suite" room means that you have a shower and toilet surrounded with 1,7m high wall in the room! And during rain water gets into the room and the whole floor is wet. Everything's old and in poor condition. We were lucky because 6 person room was occupied only by our trio. Very nice location, close to the sea and friendly stuff.

Wifi didnt really work. Kitchen was decent. Staff were great. Location was good. The bathrooms were not even the slightest bit private which was pretty awkward. Luckily i was only here for a few nights. Get a fan room or you will be sleeping in a sweaty mess!

Genuine Colombian experience. The staff are incredible and always helpful in booking tours and providing information. I love the atmosphere of this place, it doesn't have that contrived feel that some of the more expensive hostels have. Its authentic and easy going and really maintains the vibe of Santa Marta. Great food and cheap drinks too. One of my favourite hostels in Colombia.

Room got stolen by some ninja guy that reached our room from the roof that is open. However, personel is nice, good location, close to the see although beaches aren't that nice.

Good hostel if you have just arrived in Santa Marta.staff were very friendly and helpful.
