Hey Beth Thanks for taking the time to review us ,We really enjoyed having you stay with us at the Retreat. All those nerves of yours before your Sky Dive, it really was a blast. Keep that smile on your face forever. Happy Travels Richard

The open kitchen wasn't so good when it was raining all the time. Also the lounges were quite wet... But otherwise a really nice and clean hostel!

Amazing stay at Mission Beach Retreat. The staff were really helpful with local bookings and trip planning. Super close to the beach, shuttle to and from bus stop and Woolworths. The internet was really good, and the kitchen was really clean!

Super nice little family run hostel. Staff were awesome, as is the place itself. Loads of character with a really friendly, laid back vibe. Kitchen is dead cool. All in all a great place, can't believe it's the cheapest hostel in Mission, it's BEAUT.

It was OK. But there where only boys living there, so we did not like it that much. And not so clean. Just average.

Hi Ruth, yes we have had a few permanents lately and most have been boys, thats the nature of the work since Cyclone Yasi. We have moved on all the banana boys, only the Hostel staff remaining, very sorry that you didn't like it, it has worked very well through the year and we could survive through the tourist downturn. We are looking forward to more of you guys SOON. Thanks again for thr feed back Richard

This was our first hostel in Aus after arriving in cairns and it was really nice. It's not a party place but it is close to a few nice bars and it is right on the beach.

Really nice, cosy hostel. Has just been fully renovated and having a brand new dorm was awesome. Right on the beach and close to all the bars but REALLY quiet and relaxing which was great for me!
