Had a really nice (but short) stay at Mithat. It's easy walking distance to all the major attractions such as the Archeological Museum, Ankara castle, and a lovely park. It's not far to Anitkabir either, could be a longish walk or a short cab ride. The rooms are clean and tidy, and some have a nice view (ours did). The bathrooms are a little funny because they're basically closets that you splash around in to have a shower. Not too bad for a night or two, but might get a little much after that.

Clean, friendly, great breakfast! Excellent value for money option close to the main train station- highly recommended!

Besides the fact that the staff's English was hard to understand, the staff was overall nice and did their best to help with whatever I needed. The location is in a good location, yet not at the same time because at night the streets are not really safe to walk. I'm talking walking around after 9 PM and such. Otherwise, this place is worth your money and a good stay.
