Realy enjoyed staying at the guest house and if you are looking for a traditional Japanese place to stay this is it. Everyone leaves their shoes left at door, there is floor seating in common area and sleeping area is comfortable with a traditional matte matress and a buck wheat pillow. It only has space for 20 guest so you meet and spend time with most everyone. The owner is real nice and very helpful, my departure the last day wasn\'t until 11pm and he invited me to stay til then.

The place is close to the center, the staff is very friendly but not that avid in English. If you are tall, you're gonna have to be very careful.

Loved the atmosphere. Spacious common area, easy to meet people. Mostly Japanese guests. Owner wasn't very talkative (even though I was speaking Japanese), he didn't really respond to any questions that I had. Despite his awkwardness, the hostel is a good and unique location.

This was a very pleasant place to pass a couple of nights - small, but full of character. The owner didn't speak much English, but tried to be helpful. The location was handy for the station, and it was easy to find, since the instructions are so clear. We were there in the middle of winter, and it was a bit cold, but otherwise we were very happy there.
