The famous historical Ise Grand Shrine is one of Shinto's holiest and most important sites. It is composed of a large number of shrines centered on 2 major shrines, Naiku and Geku. Geku is only a 4-minute walk from Mizuhokan, and Naiku is a 20-minute drive. Kawasaki Shōnin-Kan (Kawasaki merchant hall), where one can enjoy eating or drinking at the characteristically remodeled restaurants and cafes, or shopping in the general stores, is about a 20-minute walk away.
