The hostel lacks a social living area, there is only a couch and. It enough place to sit on. The environment is precarious, the kitchen appliances are very old and barely work. ther is not a microwaves oven. It is a place for sleeping and taking shower only, if you don't want to go to the beach you just don't have a place in the hostel to spend the day besides your bedroom.

Staff couldn't tell us much, allthough they where nice. Bus to the aiport? Don't know, ask them there. No recommandations about the island. The double room was very basic, there was only a bed, no shelfs, no nothing. Breakfast was poor.

Owner Gustavo is extremely friendly and helpful. Hostel is average, not fantastic but aso not bad. The kitchen though, was a mess. I have never seen a hostel with a kitchen as dirty as this. If you are going to stay here, consider this a hostel without a kitchen and you will be satisfied with your stay.

Need to be more organized in the bar and the payment of the guests.

Convenient location, only 4-5 min to the beach. Very nice staff and good Caipirinhas in the bar. The BBQ was great too! We stayed in a 4 bed dorm, little space in the room and the beds were really hard but not a big problem. Big kitchen but it needs more equipment. Missed a bigger common/relaxing, more couches on the porch at the bar maybe?

I had a great stay at this hostel and the owner and staff are the best have met. They are friendly and this is reflected in their numerous awards for best staff, which they do not flaunt enough. The hostel is relaxed and has a bar with an excellent Caipirinha at an affordable price. It is about 5 minutes walk to the beach and this is replected in its reasonable pricing. The owner even offered to lend me his hammock when i wanted to camp in the South of the island. All in all, a perfect stay!

I definitely recommend. The staff were very helpful, the hostel was in a very good vibration and it's close to the beach! Don't forget to buy a sunblock.

Decent place to stay for a couple of nights, staff are very helpful & friendly... There is no free internet & the kitchen has only one saucepan so not a great place to do your own cooking..
