Very very very gentle, warm and nice host. The place is super cozy, guarded by a fuzzy funny Welsh Corgy. The breakfast is delicious with freshly baked bread and homemade jam AND really good coffee. Great place to stay!

"Modorina" is 20 minutes walk or only five minutes drive away from Gyeongju train station. The host is open-minded and friendly so you will definitely feel at home.
Great little find! The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. We were told that the AC would be turned on at 6pm each evening but it was never turned on so the night time got a little stuffy. It is also about a 10 minute walk to the main bus stop.

Managed by a great host who provides lots of useful travel information for all the visitors! And her homemade jam and bread for breakfast are so healthy and delicious! Will definitely come back if I visit Gyeongju again!
The hostel is freely accessible, the doors are not locked. But the house is in a normal korean neighbourhood, so there is no trouble to be expected. The house is little, neat and clean, very pleasant. Breakfast with self made bread is great! The only problem is finding the hostel, if you miss the bus stop you're in trouble, because the taxi driver will not know the address. Be sure to have the phone number, then the taxi driver can phone to the hostel.
This is a nice hostel, includes a free breakfast with homemade jams. We arrived in August when they were having a heat wave and high humidity, but the air conditioning hours were limited to the night and there was no fan in the male dorm. There's plenty of space to sit outside in the shade but you couldn't sit in your room when it was that hot!
One of my favourite hostels. Really friendly owner, home made jam and bread for breakfast was amazing! Highly recommended.
Probably the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at worldwide! The owner is a very sweet and caring person who helps you out at any time. Her homemade bread and jams are great. She runs a very very nice hostel. You feel like home the moment you enter. Everything is very clean and brandnew and designed by herself. Very close to bus stations and all. Would definitely recommand that place! Thanks for everything and the plum tea :-)
Nice woman, really helpful. She makes great jam herself! Enjoyed it!
FANTASTIC!!!! It's the cleanest hostel I've stayed at. It felt like home too! I was able to cook something for the first time ever at a hostel!!! WOW! I also loved that it's a new place. There were people there but they were in and out. I was so happy I was able to use the kitchen. The owner has great taste in selecting things for her house. Her free breakfast is awesome. Fresh baked bread and fresh jam. The Milk Jam is great.
