This A very cool guesthouse/hostel and I've stayed in many places in chiang mai. The place is built like a tradition classic Thailand house with rich teak wood framing and nice ventilation. I you want to experience what it's like to live in a traditional timber frame thai accommodation at a affordable price this place is a must stay! I wish I had a place like this back in the states. Modern toilet, hot showers...or cool shower when it's gets to 100 degrees. great price! Great Experience!

Mojito Garden is a nice hostel to stay at. It would be good to have locks on the dorm room door, or alternatively safety deposit boxes. Good location, good value on the rooms and the restaurant. Staff can be too pushy with booking things for you making it hard to get traveler information from them without them wanting to book that bus, trip, or tour through them. It's annoying because it makes it pretty much impossible to simply get information from them.

A really good place to stay that is comfortable and clean. Staff are very friendly and this place has a great atmosphere. Good location as well, an easy 5 min walk to most places.

While this place is very cheap, it is actually because you are expected (and moved along if you don't) to book tours through them, which is where they make their money on commission. Bathroom and toilet is a filthy cesspit like most Thai places, but thats normal. Dorm room does not lock / no security at all, why? Approx $100 USD went missing from my bag while it was left in the 'safe' storage room so don't be stupid like me, keep everything of value on your person at all times.

It was a nice place to stay, very central and peaceful. Ping Pong hooked me up with all kinds of discounts for fun stuff, and always gave me great advice about activities.

it is a good hostel and very cheap. the atmosphere was really good and it really make you relax. but, for some reason. it build by wood, so people upstairs should walk slowly not to make noisy. if you want to take a rest, it will difficult because sound from other room will hear clearly

Amazing place, the owner is very nice and helpfull, get solution for everything. Beautyful ambience, good price, good food, lovely room (I was in a 5 bed shared room), a snake inside some alcohol bottle, and little aquarium in the bar. Perfect

The dorm is very value for money: very clean, comfortabl bed. They also have a lovely garden where I enjoyed a lot. It is a good place to stay. (Though difficult to find as it is in a small lane)PingPong (the male receptionist) does try to charge you extra for booking tickets (call AYA service by your own to book tickets to Pai, they have free pick up), but overall he is not a bad man, the price for renting bike and motobike is reasonable market price. I enjoyed my stay there very much.

Hard to find location for most Tuk-Tuk drivers so the location is not ideal. The staff however is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. A great deal for only 100B a night!

Great hostel with bunglalo-like style. We had a private room with 2 singles and share bathroom with 9 people, was ok but very busy as the hostel was fully booked. Aside from that the hostel was clean and the staff were very friendly, other people have said in their reviews that one of the staff members, Pingpong, made them uncomfortable. I think he's just trying to be friendly and helpful and he's just a bit in your face about it. He helped us book our travel to Luangprabang in Laos. Very happy!
