Monkey Samui Hostel Reviews

The hostel was incredible dirty and messy. The outside area was always messed up with empty beer bottles and cigaret butts. I wouldn't use the kitchen area either, I wanted to use the rice cooker and found leftovers in there plus extra protein in form of worms. Just jacky the same picture in the bathroom and the dorms. I don't know if they got ever cleaned, hat least not during my stay. -staff was unorganized, even had to turn down people, who had pre-booked, because all rooms were full.

There were many people who booked rooms but couldn't check-in because the staff were missing half of the time. Also, the hostel is really dirty. You have to take your shoes off before you enter the hostel and my feet were pitch black. I felt uncomfortable not wearing shower slippers into the bathrooms because it was so dirty. It was a really cheap place, but i would definitely pay a little extra for cleaner facilities.

know 1 price 1 quality, it was holiday season , many guest house fully booked n this monkey house only 300th bath per dorm. the staff is very friendly n helpful even sometime have english communicate problem. this guest house really NEED a good housekepping , the is 2 mini poor but water not clean . to get guest return again, the boss better improve the housekeeping.

I loved my stay at Monkey Samui. Was here over Christmas and New Years 2013, and it was brilliant. I recommend this hostel to ANYONE. Sauna out back!
